Is anyone using Magisk 26.1 with denylist active? I would like to know what is wrong.
Apparently magisk 26.1 is causing a bunch of bugs on a lot of different ROMs, some people said that maybe it has something to do with the new "sepolicy.rule" implementation, so they are recommending to stay on 25 until it is stable enough or use magisk delta

Btw @DaOldMan thanks a lot for this build, it's the only Nougat ROM I've been using so far.
I've tried A LOT of android 8/9/10 ROMs but for some unknown reason some apps keep crashing, especially Pokemon GO that just becomes unplayable (on Oreo it just instant crashes everytime), because of this I had to go back to Nougat (for some reason on Nougat PoGo almost never hangs/crashes).

My only problem using 7 is losing some apps that need a minimum of android 8/9 to install, someone know how to bypass this? I've tried using some APK editors to change minimum sdk but nothing worked :/

You can't bypass this. Most of those apps use the new framework calls that were added in the new version of android and you miss those in Nougat. So even if you fix the manifest to allow installing and running on Nougat the app will crash and report a missing method. You can't edit the whole app to downgrade the methods to Nougat ones. Sorry.
Enjoy the rom.

Good friends, back to the forum of this great ROM, to say that I have installed V8.7.
Facility:
1.Rom
2.open_gapps-arm-7.1-spike-20220503
3.[Hlte][Xenial][18.03.18][N7.1-GSM]
4.IRBlasterfix (I think I installed it...)
5.Magisk V23
At the moment since yesterday it's going like silk, smooth transitions and user experience and content consumption. Perfect calls via Bluetooth without noise, Bluetooth without disconnections...
In previous versions, I had problems when viewing Facebook videos since they were reproduced in jumps and the voice was not synchronized with the image, now it works perfectly (I don't know if you have done something about it or it was a matter of my phone, the fact is that now It goes very well.
First of all, thank you for keeping our device active and alive despite the years. I prefer an updated Nougat ROM than a more modern version with bugs. Thank you really, I think an excellent job on the part of the Team.
And on top of that with an updated security patch.
This ROM is highly recommended guys, Fantastic.

Good evening colleagues, I've been using the Rom for several days now and I'm delighted, I've tried various configurations and kernel and for now I'm left with zap kernel 2.0 CPU nightmare I/0 noop, great fluidity and battery life quite good. I would like to try to lower voltages as far as possible within what my n9005 allows me but I can't find any reference data to do tests without danger of messing it up. If anyone has a configuration that they have used and that has worked for them, they would be willing to try it, or any advice: which frequencies can be lowered (and how much) and which ones should be left as they are, since some frequencies can be lowered, achieving notable energy savings, but others No. Thanks in advance 💪🏽.

Hello, use this kernel. Also you can install the app smart pack kernel manager and greenify. That's all you need.

I am not sure using Zap kernel is a good idea, there were complaints about it in the past. Test it well.
At the moment the zap 2.0 version is going pretty well for me, some sporadic reboots doing tests but fine, with Xenial every time I changed the CPU or I/0 governor I had a reboot there so basically I had to leave it as it is and even then some reboot would fail. I'll try the zap 3 version that fellow Jenvoi has passed and I'll comment... Thanks.

Hello, I use the zap kernel 03 on this rom without any problems. No reboots, best battery life.

I have installed zap kernel 3 and everything is fine (I have passed kernel cleaner, cache cleaner and dalvik cache. First load off, deleting battery stats.bin to calibrate to 100%, when turning on it shows 95%, I reconnect and in about 15 min reaches 100%, I will wait for the mobile to reach 0% and turn off to try to calibrate and I will comment on the next cycle). With the original configuration, apps that are a little heavier, like Wallapop for example, close after 2 minutes. I'm trying intellidemand, the rest is the same. Any tips for setting up? 💪🏽

Install smart kernel manager. Look at battery and switch to fast charge.
And low memory killer ro aggressive

I finished the cycle to 0%, 3h 31min of screen (1st capture). With zap kernel V2 4h. Curious fact: I charged the phone on and despite leaving it charging for several hours it did not exceed 94% (2nd capture). Smart kernel manager in play store? Several appear to me and I don't know which one you are referring to (I am using kernel adiutor) if you can tell me which one it is exactly I would appreciate it, and I will try to look for the PRO version.

Hello guys, yesterday I did 4h 11m of screen which indicates that the performance of the V3 kernel is very similar to the V2. At rest I have a high consumption, I think it is too high, possibly due to poor coverage.

With the V2 I average 85% idle if I don't touch it for several hours.

Yesterday I found a gap and decided to put a clean base for Odin (POK2 because I couldn't find the one with PQ...) Install the clean Rom, OpenGaaps, Xenial kernel, RBlasterFix and Magisk.
The 1st capture is at rest after a few hours, and the battery consumption.
Delighted with the Rom, if you need to test something I'll volunteer.

Hey mod can you add that app in the rom
Why does such an app be forced on every user ? Can't you install it seperately if you need it?
    2
OK no problem, thanks for your reply :)
Ok I managed to pass safetynet easely by puting gms.unstable of google services into denylist. Thanks mate for the effort.

If someone wants to test the new "fixed" 26.3 Magisk here you go. If someone knows how to fix safetynet I will gladly hear what modules to install.
    Enjoy the rom !

Perfect, thank you very much, I'll look for info and try to add my source 👍🏼

By the way, after several days of tests and experiments I downloaded Rom TW 6.0.1 (of course: Aspire C9 Pro -- remembering old times 😆😆) yesterday I cleaned and flashed clean from scratch, Once again I am pleasantly surprised with how well ViperOS 7.1.2 works, I have not touched or modified anything, neither launching applications nor kernel, I think it may have influenced the battery calibration I did with the Samsung code with Aspire C9. When the cycle ends I will comment on the results.

Have you been able to solve the problem with Magisk 26.3?
I still have no idea what the problem with Magisk 26.3 is. I hope that in Magisk 27, where they want to fix Zygisk implementation will fix our problem as well. Until then, we need to use 25.2 which works totaly fine.

    About:
Another AOSP rom ? I guess many will ask why I am releasing a Nougat rom at this time when there are already builds of Oreo and Pie floating around. The answer is simple. I would release those but for one problem. As of today the Bluetooth bug that prevents us from calling people via Bluetooth is still present on all LineageOS/AOSP roms for the Note 3. People that use the mobiles in their cars or with Bluetooth headsets this is a huge problem. So this rom is just for you guys. In Nougat the bug is non existent and everything works just fine. The rom is very fast, stable and filled with mods. I hope you will like and use it.

    About ViperOS:
We are a Brazilian team, ViperOS aims to bring stability and useful features. If you are looking for a stable ROM with true tested features, minimal bugs and no Lineage bloatwares, then this is the place to be.

    Removed SecureFlag from framework

There are many other customizations, install the rom and check it out !

How to install ViperOS on Note3 N9005:
Download the rom. Download Gapps of your choice (use arm & nougat 7.1). Micro, nano or pico versions are recommended. Download the zip from: https://opengapps.org/. Save both files in a place you remember.
Boot to TWRP (Use V 3.2.0 and up please otherwise it's a no go) by holding down Volume Up + Home + Power keys.
Nandroid backup your current setup (System, Data, Boot, Cache) in case something bad happens.
Wipe > Advanced Wipe > Cache + System + Data.
Install the downloaded zip rom file on your device.
Install downloaded OpenGapps zip file and reboot the device.
    Profit !

    Recommended Kernel Installation:
Original (refered as stock) Kernel, included in the rom is stable but not best. Thus I recommend to use replacement kernels. The stock kernel is SELinux enforcing now, so safetynet should be passed if you use magisk.
There are two recommended replacement kernels to the stock one that is included in the rom zip:
    1. The older Xenial kernel is also recommended. It was found to be very stable and battery friendly. Download it from here: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=818070582850501474. Installation is in recovery after rom installation. You should also use the IRPatch from @svbarbosa to fix IrBlaster with this kernel. The fix should be applied in recovery from here: Ir Patch is here. If you want to install another kernel after using Xenial kernel you will need to restore a custom binary first by flashing the following SDCard revert zip: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=673368273298967988
    2. Zap kernel by my good friend @jprimero15, available here in this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79276551&postcount=258. Installation is in recovery after rom installation.

    Dear users,

I am happy to announce the latest v4.0 build of my ViperOS 3.1.1 build for the Note 3.

    V4.0 changelog:

    1. Security patch updated to July
