You need to install an updated modem for the i9305 to get this ROM to work on it!

Hi guys, did anyone get Magisk Hide working on this particular ROM? Am using Magisk 20.4 + Magisk Manager 7.5.1. I removed the old Magisk Manager system app 7.0.0 through ES File Explorer. Can never seem to enable it. Otherwise the ROM is flawless, save for some apps that will have their camera freeze on them when the camera function is turned on.

Do you want to use Magisk Hide in order to pass SafetyNet check? In all the years that I'm using the different versions of @rodman01's RR on our i9305's I always failed to pass the SafetyNet check.
No own experiences regarding the camera as I've always only used Open Camera instead of the ROM inherent one.
For the modem, XXUFOA1 is the one I recommend.

I need MagiskHide to explicitly hide root from certain apps (even though they are not banking-related) as they simply won't run as long as root is detected. On other devices that I have tested (e.g. my Galaxy J2 with Resurrection Remix) the MagiskHide works fine even though ctsProfile is false but basic integrity is true.

I am not sure why your Magisk is showing as SafetyNet check fail, both the ctsProfile and basicIntegrity on my device is true. It's just that I cannot enable Magisk Hide at all, let alone use the hidelist. The magisk logs don't even show the Magisk Hide feature starting at all; The cause seems to be the kernel not supporting it natively (i.e. they are <3.8), so the mount namespace feature has to be backported through a patch (see this article: https://lore.kernel.org/patchwork/patch/217023/). I confirmed that this particular build lacks this feature as "/proc/self/ns/mnt" is missing. I am a power user, not a developer so I have no know-hows on how to modify and re-compile the kernel, not at least with extensive guidance. I am hoping you can help to integrate this aforementioned mount namespace patch into the kernel if you have the time!

Camera
I also have a differing experience from the Camera. Surprisingly, the stock Camera app works fine with the camera. In fact, the camera only hangs when I use the Scan QR code feature in Firefox Developer Edition (now Firefox Preview) and Firefox Nightly. It does not hang when I use Firefox + QR Code Scanner.

Mine if it was perfect after charging to phone off stays on the home screen with logo rezurezion remix on the go but it doesn't go on stays still li xke happens this worked perfectly. I don't want to lose everything and erase the data. Guys but you guys have had this problem too? How did you solve this problem? Thank you

Almost perfect rom. But cant find any working bluetooth device. Ahh

If course i use this rom without gaaps. Its too old device. Any help with this not working bluetooth?

Hi, im trying to flash this rom on my s3 phone, but i always end up on stuck boot.. it just stucks in that loading animation. Can the reason be that i have wrong wersion of twrp? I have tried lastest and older 2.7.8 version.. where i can download that 3.0.2-1 version, because its deleted from twrp site? Or is there something else that could cause my booting proble?

i have, also, a problem with the "lineage-16.0-20200416-UNOFFICIAL-i9305_rodman01.zip" ROM.

i'm using twrp 3.5.2_9-1

protocol that i follow :
- factory reset from twrp
- format data from twrp
- wipe dalvik/art cache, cache, system, vendor, data, internal storage from twrp
- install .zip ROM from twrp
- install .zip modem "XXUFOA1-XEF-I9305XXUFOB2.zip" from twrp
- reboot phone
- constat that all work, including sim detection, call, sms...
- reboot phone
- argh.... sim not detected !
- reboot phone n times, n>3...
- rhaaaa !!!!! not work !!

I installed resurrection rom, but i think its not that stable, because phone rebooks like in every hour.. im sorry i havent even tried to use phone with sim-card because i dont need that.. all i need is stable rom with android 7 and working bluetooth.. i would like to use that phone as car diagnostic device.

Sometimes it is even better to install first a lineage 14, and if this works then flash RR. Always with factory reset and the other steps on the install list. flashing a modem additionally is usually not necessary. For problems with sim card not detected there are quite a lot posts in the lineage threads as well as in the RR thready.
