yes. at the first time it is did connected , then it is just not, after a reboot i did to the device it is stuck on "obtaining id address"

Is there any way to disable the proximity sensor on lockscreen? the home button doesn't work unless there's something far from the sensor

This is an old room, if the developer did not fix this it is likely not to be fixed. You can try the lineage that is without this problem.

I'm on a SM-J500FN and I'm not able to install this due to the error below. I tried with many official and unofficial versions of TWRP but it didn't work. I also tried to wipe system.

The error message is pretty clear, you've downloaded an older build than the one you've been using. If you really want to use this rom try again with the latest build, which is slightly newer than yours.
Keep in mind that this rom has been discontinued and hasn't received an update in years.
Oh I see. You have the FN variant. The build you've downloaded seems to be the latest for your phone.
Guess you're out of luck. If you really want this rom you'll have to wipe your phone and start fresh.
As I said, I tried with wipe:
-Data
-Internal Storage
-Cache
-Dalvik
-System
and with format data. Nothing worked. I did some research and it looks like the problem is that my TWRP is "too much new" for the rom. But 3.1.1 is the only available for j5nlte.

This rom is really outdated by now, is hasn't been updated in nearly two years. I'd suggest you to look into other roms.
If you really want Nougat try RR, I installed it for my brother so I know it works, don't know if it supports FN though.
