Hello everyone,
I have a problem with version 3.4. The system can not play MP4 videos by default. So in the gallery or in a browser can not read them. Do you have a solution ?

Hello,
can I lock the phone using the fingerprint sensor like on stock rom? For example the aokp rom has only similar functionality, but it's not the same. Long pressing the fingerprint sensor to lock the device has really grown on me.

I switched to the official LineageOS version today. It fixed the audio noise gate and Bluetooth issues which both were driving me crazy and also it's updated more frequently and has a larger community behind it. I tried to get back to stock first but oh boy that's no simple task – and I am a full time programmer who knows his way around the console. LineageOS is not perfect though, i already discovered some minor issues.

The mayor downsides are that it's not as customizable (for some reason can't turn of the screen with your fingerprint sensor), has no MotoMod support and no built in root.

Hi.
I tried another System, before that I made a Nandroid-Backup.

Didn't like the other ROM, so I restored the Nandroid of crDroid.

But after the reboot, the phone doesn't accept my PIN.
I'm sure, it's the right one, but the phone allways says, it's the wrong PIN.
Even after typing hundret times any PIN, there is no possibility to unlock the phone in another way.

What can I do?

I had the same problem this week. Boot into TWRP, go into /data/system, remove all locksettings.db* files, and reboot.

Explanations for this solutions can befound on the net by searching for: pin wrong after nandroid restore. I can't post links yet....

Good luck!

I have now switched to Resurrection Remix. It has almost the same features as crdroid and possibly a few more. Just the order or grouping is a bit different. Basically updated every week as far as I can see, whereas crdroid had not been updated since June.
It comes with magisk, which was an added plus for me.
I am quite content with the ROM, am not having any problems, and will stick with it.
I have been running crdroid on my old Samsung S3 and Nexus 5, and will now migrate over to Resurrection Remix on them too!
