LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7 (nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ):-

Q: Is the ROM will work perfectly on my device?
A: Yeah, It depends upon how you use, remember this ROM (Naugat) is running on Stock KitKat kernel, so other bugs are possible.

Q: How to root the ROM?
A: The easiest and official way to root is:
  • Download this zip: LINK
  • Go to recovery and flash the zip.
  • Open Settings>About phone and tap on "build number" 4-5 times to enable Developer option.
  • Go back and open Settings>Developer options
  • Select Root access to "Apps and ADB"

Q: When the bugs will get fixed?
A: We are working to make it more stable, we sometimes cant able upload the ROM, but only make the commits in trees and source repos.
If you are a ROM builder, you can get everything here, www.github.com/TestMT6572 and you can build the ROM yourself with all latest fixes!

Q: How to use xposed?
A: There are already lots of guides all over the web, use them!

Q: How to backup your all data,system,etc of current ROM before flashing new ROM?
A: Open TWRP>Backup and make backup(Make sure you have enough space to make backup). If you want to revert back to the the previous ROM, Open TWRP>Restore and restore by browsing the backup you made.

No Kanging! , No mirroring of post/links!​

Nice work Adi, i port for my device and dont can get access to root, only adb...Any solution i am new in this... ty :) No have problems in apps. only in root

Issues:
  • Calls doesn't works on 2nd SIM Slot. (Incoming/outgoing shows but telephony crashes after connecting.)
  • Some Microphone issues while calls. (Only for MT6572, I guess)
  • Camera can't capture pictures & records video with stock camera. (Only in MT6572, Cameringo app seemed working.)
    ROM is in Beta stage, there might be some other bugs that can may or may not be observed.

Installation Instrctions:
  • Download the ROM & GApps package (If needed)
  • Put them in SD Card or Internal Storage
  • Wipe System,Data,Cache
  • Install the ROM ,then GApps
  • Reboot!
    NOTE:
    -No need to flash any extra things for rooting, just enable Developers options, and enable root.

It's not working in my Intex aqua Y2 [ MT6572]
It says that - this package is for A102 , the device is AQUA Y2
Help me that how to flash this Rom in my Intex aqua Y2.

Micromax A102 itself does not start the GPS works through the YGPS app only when you click restart .How to make it run like on stock firmware ?

Hello, I tried porting and I got the camera working but I cannot get audio working. Replacing libaudio.primary.default.so doesn't fix the issue. Any ideas?
