Yes, thanks. you are right.
Sorry bro, tried the ROM again and whenever I update the Google App to the latest version in the US (7.6.xx.xx) the "OK, Google" voice trigger stops working. If I used the built in ROM version that is 6.x it works fine. Maybe because you had it bundled in the System image that when we update there are now 2 versions of it running? Other ROMs don't bundle Gapps with their ROMs.
ALL SYSTEM apps have multiple versions because the default app just sticks around. the update is copied to /data/app folder instead taking up ever more memory and storage space. You could delete the /System app by going into TWRP and use file manager and go to /system/priv-app and enter the app folder and selected delete. Then install the google versions of the app so there is no duplicates. Some apps do not work as system apps and some apps do not work as user apps. I updated many system apps and had no trouble. ok google also works fine. This might be related to something else.
Maybe a build.prop is not set the way they are expecting for it in the US? The phone I have is an RMA replacement from Google. The retail one I bought when it was launched died. They sent me an RMA that had Google Fi preinstalled, so I'm thinking this is a Fi phone but does it actually matter software wise? Unless of course they new keep a DB of serial numbers from Fi and expect something different. If that is the case, then other ROMs won't work either, but I have no issues with PureNexus...
Mine is international version and no problems. Project Fi is just an app. Although it can only work in the US. I have it disabled. I think it is a system app that is also in purez. I dont see an app to use it. Why any of that would affect voice recognization? Did you try removing the google app in /system? Apps2sd has a backup/restore apps/sd card feature which lets you move updates into /system. If you cant figure out the app name of the program. I would just use TWRP and delete the directory in /system and install from playstore.
When you say it dont work, what dont work exactly and where? I press the O in the middle bottom of the screen to bring it up. Some others want to use it on the lock screen and when it is asleep etc.
I don't have plan to update for O Preview Versions. ( current - ODP4 )ZawZaw
can you new rom Nexus 5X DP4 for Google PixelROM FEATURES
I don't have plan to update for O Preview Versions. ( current - ODP4 )
When Google released Android O Final (stable version), I will update my PureZ to 8.0.0 "O" with Pixel Features.
Thank You for your requesting.

Outstanding ROM. Been using it since I rooted my Nexus 5x.
**(Not this ROM development related)
How do I get rid of the all black screen during phone call? I was under the impression just running custom ROM would solve that.
