No security updates for 14.1?

No, since there is a official LOS 15.1 version. :D

AFAIK as I know there are security updates if you compile LOS 14.1 yourself (and repo sync). :D

That is just what I am trying to do.
However I need an existing lineageos-14.1-xxxx-griffin.zip in order to extract the binary blobs. Sadly I am unable to find one (after an hour or so of searching). There have been lots of uploads to androidfilehost, but it won't find any working mirrors.
The only LOS 14.1 image I have been able to find is the one from the microg project. Sadly it is missing some apks which the LOS build process requires.

So it would be great if anyone could point me an usable 14.1 image (ideally official) or upload the required files for me. I think all I need is in <build_dir>/vendor/motorola/griffin/. In my source tree that is about 300 MB, but I am just missing a few files (which the microg-image is lacking).
Those are the missing files according to extract-files.sh:
Code:
/usr/local/src/android/system/device/motorola/griffin# ./extract-files.sh /tmp/system/ 2>&1 |grep -B1 '!!'
  - /system/etc/data/qmi_config.xml
!! file not found in source
--
  - /system/vendor/lib/libWVStreamControlAPI_L1.so
!! file not found in source
--
  - /system/vendor/lib/libwvdrm_L1.so
!! file not found in source
--
  - /system/app/DaydreamHome/DaydreamHome.apk
!! file not found in source
--
  - /system/app/VrInputMethod/VrInputMethod.apk
!! file not found in source
  - /system/app/VrYoutube/VrYoutube.apk
!! file not found in source
--
  - /system/vendor/app/colorservice/colorservice.apk
!! file not found in source
So If someone could post them for me, I would really be grateful :good:
If someone points me to a working LOS 14.1 image that is just as well :fingers-crossed:

P.S.: I am still using LOS 14.1 because LOS 15.1 was just rather buggy when I first tried to switch (for another device), so now I have the working build tree and thus - at least in theory - even security updates.

For everyone else in the same situation (trying to build 14.1 after no official images are available). Following these instructions, I was able to get the proprietary blobs: SORRY, no outside links for me - go to the https site lineageos dot fun
Code:
lineageos.fun
Adding an element to your roomservice.xml in the .repo directory allows you to download the required files from the github repository of user TheMuppets (again no link, sorry)

The jury is still out if the brunch command will finish successfully, but so far it is looking very good.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7.1 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include <std_disclaimer.h>
    /*
    * Your warranty is now void.
    *
    * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Base source code is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to the project, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

So, no new release cause of that in-call volume bug. Spend hours to find what's going wrong, without any results atm.

I'll try more for one or two days before sharing a new release.

    What's new for next build:

-Kernel rebase and updated from CAF
    -Audio Mod fix
-Add projector app for related Mod
    -Mods Platform version fix
    -Sync GPS HAL with CAF
    -Sync IPACM with CAF
-Fix "Hand Wave" wakeup toggle in Gestures
-Hopefully in-call volume fix (Edit: Fixed)
