It's clickbait. They just made posts which they will edit later with proper info. Pretty much all flagships can get LOS 15 but in every single case, you need to have a developer who will make sure that happens for their device.
Yeah. Looked like something like that when I found the info. I saw someone complaining on not getting LOS 15... So I started to do some searching. He/She probably mistaken similar sites "supported device" lists as the real deal.

Access to contact on SIM card

Hi,
could anybody help or verify the bug? With my Moto Z and 14.1 I have no access to the contacts on both SIM Cards. Import/Export from/to SIM Card is also not working.

Both SIMCards are definetely ok. In a Moto G 2nd Gen. with LineageOS 14.1 they behave as they should.

According to jira.lineageos.org/browse/BUGBASH-382 this bug used to be on other devices as well and was solved.

Wifi,data,sound,bluetooth,4k video recording, gestures from the stock Moto rom, etc. everything works on my XT1650-03.
And you have a lot more customization options than in LOS.
I have tested this ROM and it works much better than LOS. No wifi issues, Bluetooth is working for me and a lot of more customization options.

Original kernel seems pretty OK battery wise now. For those who uses other kernels to gain more batterylife maybe you can return and see if you still have drain issues. Original is always the best if you plan to rapport issues on LIRA. They probably close the bug rapport instantly if you use a other kernel.
Currently for the first day test I can't see much difference from latest VisionZ kernel. Not sure how it is compared to ElementalX kernel.
If the mac number issue is a too big problem for you, you still need a other kernel than original Lineage though.

Anyone with latest build and original kernel using Waze? I can't get a stable GPS lock with that app. Google apps does not seem to have issues.
I can't tell for sure if it was last update of Waze or Lineage that started this behavior...
I've been using custom kernels for some time, but I'm back with original now.

I see the same thing with waze on sort of stock kernel (I have a different fstab so I can use f2fs on cache).

I do my own builds. I had to edit the fstab in the device tree. I did put in a pull request on gerrit but it didn't really go anywhere.
Oh. Manually edit fstab and format cache to f2fs would not help on regular build? That of course could be a issue if updating would revert the change.

I've seen some initial work being done on Lineage 15. Some kind of test builds on Jenkins. Hurray [emoji6]
Wonder how far into the future we could expect the jump to 15.

You could do that too. The fstab is in the ramdisk, not the one in /system/etc. You'd have to extract the boot partition and extract the ramdisk; similar to how magisk and superuser patch the ramdisk.

Well... If you update Lineage you automatically get latest kernel too. You only need to worry about kernels if you use custom kernels. You can download and use TurboZ, ElementalX or VisionZ kernels. You flash the zip in TWRP. Flashing the latest Lineage version overwrites any custom kernel so you need to reflash the kernel of your choice.
Using any other kernel than what comes with Lineage could improve battery and performance but with the cost of loosing official support.
