Thank you vtta for your answer, when I do a wipe it means like I'm cleaning but not erasing my info?
not really, wiping data means delete all apps and their data, it's something like factory reset

not really, wiping data is similar to factory reset, it deletes all your apps and their data

Edit: I don't know how, but I've managed to install NextApp SDFix and it gives me this error when I run it: Platform permission file is invalid, no groups specified in WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE

Hi Andrea_X,

did you ever manage to fix the SD card (ie to be able to write to it)? Because I have the same problem with NextApp and I don't know what to do.

Thanks,
Dimitri

Hello everyone,
Did you notice that when activating Bluetooth, the battery was discharging faster?
I have a connected Withings Steel HR watch and I do not know if the fact that it is connected causes this anomaly.
Have you encountered the same problem and have you found a solution?
Thanks in advance

Does anyone know, why there's still no Lineage OS 15 for Android Smartphones?
Cyanogenmod was quite fast updating their code to a newer Android, but LOS 15 is in development for a few months now and there is still no official version.

Are there any problems with Android 8 or are there not enough developers for a fast update?

Have a nice day!

As I understand the development at least on phones that will have official oreo they are waiting for official sources to be released.

That's true, but as far as I know, the first CM 14.1 nightlies were released in November 2016 (correct me if I'm wrong) and the developers of Lineage OS had to built a functional and stable infrastructure first and then they released the first versions, which were nearly identical to the CM nightlies, the only differences were the name and the logo. ;)

Have a nice day!

as far as I remember there were only unofficial cm14.1 builds, I'm pretty sure CM-13.0 started with official nightlies in january as well.
So from the historical point of view I don't see much of a delay.
The activity on the official repo looks pretty vivid as well.

you are right, CM-13.0 official nightlies were released end of november as well.
But I still don't see your point, it's OSS maintained by people in their free time. Official nightlies will start when the code base is considered "stable" enough for nightlies.
maybe with android 8 it got more complicated to implement LOS changes, maybe there's fewer devs or just fewer time to invest.
There's a reason why there are no ETA's given.

I can't see your point.

The only thing I said was that I'm wondering because the first CM builds were released quite fast and I asked for the reasons of the delay. Nothing more.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7.1 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include <std_disclaimer.h>
    /*
    * Your warranty is now void.
    *
    * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Base source code is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to the project, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

So, no new release cause of that in-call volume bug. Spend hours to find what's going wrong, without any results atm.

I'll try more for one or two days before sharing a new release.

    What's new for next build:

-Kernel rebase and updated from CAF
    -Audio Mod fix
-Add projector app for related Mod
    -Mods Platform version fix
    -Sync GPS HAL with CAF
    -Sync IPACM with CAF
-Fix "Hand Wave" wakeup toggle in Gestures
-Hopefully in-call volume fix (Edit: Fixed)
