Help to install this Rom RR.

- Hello, I have currently installed in my jiayu s3 a Rom oreo 8.1.0, Mados. But I have several problems: Some App stop working and I have to re-start the jiayu several times a day, also problems with video, this is poor quality etc.
So I needed to know in my case, what is the best way to install the RR rom in my Jiayu?
- Can I use version 3.2.1-0 of TWRP from team M.A.D. do I already have installed or do I have to use another version of TWRP?
- Do I need to make full wipes?
I am grateful in advance for your help.

You have to use the TWRP 3.1.1 from M.A.D. Team OS 7.1.2: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=889764386195902349
You have to make a full wipes.

= Hi again, thanks to @Andrea332, for the information. I have already installed the rom without any problems and i am positively impressed by its performance and functions. Congratulations to the developers. But I have some doubts about this rom:
-- Is this rom rooted by default?
-- So far I have not activated any root options. Not even the option that is in the area of Programmer Options, and I have applications informing me, that the Jiauy s3 is rooted and for me to be careful (attached photo).
-- If the rom is rooted, should not there be one application, super user or another, to control application permissions?
If anyone can help me on this subject, I am grateful in advance.

You can try installing root checker app from the playstore to know if the rom is rooted or not.
==Hello @MoldySoapBox, thank you.
- I already posted a post on page 75 on the subject with a photo of the root checker.
- What causes me confusion is that there are applications that consider the smartphone rooted and others not, as shown in the photos they attach. - I intend to help with knowing how to correctly configure this rom to be well rooted? Do I need to install some superuser or magisk application? -- What do I have to do? Thank you.

CAN THIS TREAT EXTERNAL STORAGE LIKE INTERNAL STORAGE ?

My userdata partition is mounted on
/data
and is formatted as ext4
(about 5 GB size)

My Micro SD card is mounted on
/storage/1A23-D76C
And formatted as FAT32
(32 GB size)

See attached images below.

My question is:
Can I format
/storage/1A23-D76C
as ext4
Then Move data from /data to /storage/1A23-D76C
Then make a hard link or a symbolic link
ln -s /storage/1A23-D76C /data
Or
ln /storage/1A23-D76C /data

After doing this will my Micro SD card be recognised and work as internal storage ?

Will I have a 32 GB internal storage that I can see in Windows when I plug in my computer?

How to upgrade Android security patch?

This 7.1.2 Remix ROM for the S3 Jiayu is the one I like best. However your Android security Patch dates from December 2017. Does anyone know if it is possible to upgrade your security Patch to a newer version? And how to do this update?
Thank.

Resurrection Remix is a free, community built distribution of Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) which greatly extends the capabilities of your phone.

This is the official build of Resurrection Remix for Jiayu S3 (advanced and basic, not S3 plus), with MT6752 SoC.
