Bad experience

done a clean installation, pico gapps didn't work, used minimal gapps.after installation, the UI is very buggy. The cellular will be auto-on, so I clicked on it to disable, now the status bar won't exit from the cellular menu. The hardware button in front wont work, except the back button.

thanks for the gapps I tried with the 7.1 and it did not work.
Probe this rom but I had nothing to configure the functions of the buttons such as wake up the phone with the volume buttons or press the middle button to turn off etc and I need it because my manual ignition button is half broken.
But that's why it seemed good rom.
Not all menus are translated into Spanish

hi my friend. i can't install this rom on my phone. why? i get thi message

He gave me an error message but I do not remember if it was this one.
My problem was that I did not have the recovery updated. I had 2.8 and go to 3.0.3 and everything ok.
Also update the firware if it comes from kik-kat

Hi there,

I have flashed this ROM and its amazing. But the only downside is that I am not able to flash Gapps and I am getting Error 7. Its really an amazing ROM and I am using it as a daily driver.

Just one question, you have mentioned that the ROM is pre-rooted and Magisk is already installed, but I do not see any such options. I tried to go to developer Option and tried to enable ROOT and it gave me only 2 options - Disable and ADB only.. And also I installed the SuperSU app and it said "ROOT not detected".

My main requirement to Root the phone is to flash Gapps somehow (either using the OpenGapps.org app or some other way).

Thanks in advance,
RJD

Hope you would look into it.

Code:

    CLEAN FLASH :
Download the latest build and GApps
    Reboot to recovery
    Make NAndroid backup (Not Necessary)
Wipe System, Data, Cache , Dalvik
Flash the latest build and GApps
    Reboot

    DIRTY FLASH :
    Download the latest build
    Reboot to recovery
    Flash the latest build
    Wipe Cache
    +Reboot
+The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once!
+The root solution should be flashed together with every OTA update (= ROM Update) as long as the instructions of your
+root solution do not state something else (="persistence on dirty flashing") !

    REPORTING BUGS!
As soon as the problem occurs, take a logcat!
    What is a LogCat?
A "LogCat" is for debugging applications / Android system. When applications / Android crash the output the "explanation" for the crash, the Exception Stacktrace, to a Log. This log can be saved and help developers to fix the crash.
What is it supposed to do?
It will help to solve your questions, if your asked for a LogCat it is always useful.
How can I get a LogCat?
    Prerequisites:
    Code:
    Linux, Windows or Mac
    USB cable for your device
    Android Device
    Instructions:
    Code:
Install your device driver for using adb. Everything you need will you find here
Download adb executable for your OS (Download: Windows | Linux | Mac). Paste it somewhere.
    Connect your android device.
Verify if "Settings > Developer options > USB debugging" is checked, if not, simply check it.
Open a command prompt (windows) or terminal (linux / mac). How to do it: On Windows: windows + r > enter "cmd" (without quotes) > click enter | On Linux: You don't know how to open a terminal? LOL | On Mac: Type Terminal into Spotlight and open it
CD to the directory where the adb executable is located. On Windows: Go to the directory where you downloaded the adb executable, Shift+Right Click and select "Open Console" (or similar) | On Linux / Mac: Rightclick in the directory and select "Open Terminal here" (or simply CD into the directory)
Type in your cmd/terminal: adb devices to verify your device is properly connected.
If your device is properly selected, type in adb logcat to show the mighty and magic logcat aka stacktrace.
Reproduce your error (or whatever) on your device.
Right after, paste the whole cmd / terminal window into a paste-service like [url]http://pastebin.com/[/url] and send it to us.

    Re-partition System

    Hi,

I tried installing pico gapps it says insuficient space.

    Please Help

For those having error 70 while installing GApps, even pico, I have found myself a workaround which is by resizing the partition. We need minimal fastboot, adb,TWRP and parted.
*Know what you are doing. I am not responsible for bricked devices. Backup all the partitions you are going to erase here using TWRP for example before proceeding. Though verified, you may be stuck with only your backed up ROM.

    1. Install the ROM first, prepare gapps in sd card.
    2. Boot into TWRP, backup your rom into sdcard. After that go to mount and uncheck cache, system, data then go back into main TWRP window.
    3. While still in TWRP, connect your device into PC and check ADB for connections.
    Code:
    adb devices
    step1.jpg
    4. Then we are going to push parted into the phone.
    Code:
    adb push parted /
    step2.jpg
    5. Run the shell command
    Code:
    adb shell
    step3.jpg
    6. Since we have no su running, we are going to give full permission to the partition
    Code:
    chmod 777 /
    step5.jpg
    7. Give parted full permision
    Code:
    chmod 777 /parted
    step6.jpg
    8. Run parted and connected to the main block
    Code:
    /parted /dev/block/mmcblk0
    step7.jpg
    9. Print out the partition table
    Code:
    p
    step8.jpg
    10. Since I already did make the resizing, I will run it again for you. We are going to remove system, cache and userdata which is number 27,28 and 29.
    Code:
    rm 27
    step9.jpg
    Code:
    rm 28
    step10.jpg
    Code:
    rm 29
    step11.jpg
    11. After remove, we are going to remake the partition with bigger size.
    Code:
    mkpart primary 336 2384
    step13.jpg
    Code:
    mkpart primary 2384 2787
    step13.jpg
    Code:
    mkpart primary 2384 7818
    step14.jpg
    12. Then we are going to rename the partion.
    Code:
    name 27 system
    step15.jpg
    Code:
    name 28 cache
    step16.jpg
    Code:
    name 29 userdata
    step17.jpg
    12. Recheck the partition by showing the partition table.
    Code:
    p
    step18.jpg
By default my partition is already in ext4 but for those still not have file system type for these 3 partition, you can quit the parted
    Code:
    quit
    13. After quit parted run these command one by one
    Code:
    mke2fs -t ext4 /dev/block/mmcblk0p27
    Code:
    mke2fs -t ext4 /dev/block/mmcblk0p28
    Code:
    mke2fs -t ext4 /dev/block/mmcblk0p29
    14. Rerun parted and check for the partition table and make sure in ext4
    Code:
    /parted /dev/block/mmcblk0
    Code:
    p
    step19.jpg
    15. Restore your rom backup and then install pico gapps. Then reboot.

    Seems nice, will try it...

    Selinux is enforcing.

After an hour, I can say, it's a fine, fine ROM. I like it.

The problem I have is with the power menu. It's all white, the options are there (power off, reboot etc.), but I can't see them, so I have to guess which is which...
