I flashed the Rom but I wasnt able to register any fingerprints.

I came from RROS with whitepug kernel. I also tried reflashing the RROS rom and then AOSPA on top but still the same issue.

Hmmm ... it looks like you did something wrong, I'm also on AOSPA with stock AOSPA kernel and I have no issue to set a fingerprint ;)
