The porting emui camera is so difficult and in rare cases it was unable to..

I've tried installing rr os 14/7/17 release seperately and with this aosp update but it results in the same intro screen loop.
I've tried leniage os aswell but it gets stuck on intro screen. It keeps playing opening animation for hours and the phone turns into a frying pan. I've tried vendor.zip from both threads rr os and leniage but no luck. Don't know what is going wrong. I've also tried all format methoda and am sure everything is clean before new rom installation but same results every time.
My phone is dukl09. I cannot even download emui using the stock recovery. I'm stuck with a bricked device.

Yes, you're right ... but I'll do an extra effort to port stock EMUI Huawei Camera to all custom ROM's , but only for Honor 8Pro & Honor 9 !
As you may know, this is not pretty simple ... so it'll take some more time .

Please, if you are able to see bootanimation loading, then try to format data once again into TWRP ! For some unknown reason data will not be properly formatted - if you already formatted data only one time ! You can try to format data even a second time ( but for each format you should reboot device to TWRP, then try again to format ) - and when you try to flash the ROM, you should check if there is no issues ( red lines) into TWRP ( just press the button from the right side - to see if there is or not a few red lines ) ! If there is some issues ( red lines ) into TWRP, that means you should format data once again or just reboot device again into TWRP !I would love to but its almost over a month i have a bricked device. I've done exactly like you said format reboot and repeat multiple times but no luck. Everytime i format data it has only one folder "media/0" and sometimes "media/0/twrp" so data partition seems to be formatted properly. Then i boot into the os let it do its job and after 15mins or so(of intro loading) i reboot in twrp i see many folders there then i format, reboot and format but
All the os's(rros, lineage,pa) are being installed properly without any errors(red lines) but the vendor.zip(both from rros and lineage os thread) installs with an error "E:Unknown Command[]]" ive read in one of your posts that that is not much of an issue. This pa 7.2.2 update doesn't even play the intro screen but i can see the backlight and the phone heats up asusual. I have also tried to install the emui os from erecovery but the download fails

Is this rom stable for daily driver except camera? I mean battery life is good as emui? After flashing this is it possible to come back to EMUI? I'm on Indian honor 8 pro 128gb.
You can roll back to indian version duk-l09c675b130 we got the firmware, search in section
If you want to roll back, there's a thread in the guides section by OldDroid.
Yesh i saw that but where is indian firmware to download..i won't be able to find it.
