So, since the other thread is pretty clogged up, I have decided to create a new one (even tough I know this is going to get even more clogged up...)

So the day has come, since the closed beta I have fixed some bugs and I have (finally) setup the downloads server, it's the right time.

I am not really good writing this kind of posts, you know what you want, and I am too tired to talk about the risks of not being careful flashing, etc...

Installation Instructions
  1. Your device must be updated to EMUI 4.1 !
  2. You should have already installed TWRP 3.1.1-0 !
  3. Format data in TWRP and reboot device again into TWRP ( if you come from stock EMUI 4.1 )
  4. Wipe Factory Reset in TWRP
  5. Flash LOS 14.1 zip and reboot to System
  6. Reboot device in TWRP and install Gapps ( optional )
  7. Install Magisk or SuperSU if you need ROOT ( optional )
  8. Enjoy

If you have a Honor 4X and the rom isn't compatible (it shouldn't be compatible so don't worry) send me a PM (unless you are @panchovix because I already know that he is interested lol), because I need a little group of people to test the adapted 4X version, but that rom will be published in the correct subforum, so please let's keep it tidy.

Please think before you post, I wouldn't like to reach 50 pages within 2 weeks, so if you just want to post "OMG SO HYPED" do it in the other thread or don't do it at all.

P.S: The Github repo will be updated as fast as I can, I understand that some people want to port roms now that we have reached 'certain stability', but I am just one person and my time is limited.

@XePeleato OMG SO HYPED, ok nope haha, thanks man, finally it is here now on XDA, good luck on the rest (because just watching there are just little bugs, atleast for me), as always i say it to you, Good job! and Thanks for remembering us 4X users!

@MarcoPLs @Zizo17 @ericotena @keikari good luck here, we have someone that want to help us :) send him a PM, and if you know more people using the 4X (i know there are more, probably you that are you reading this :I), PM him (don't comment here, he doesn't want to inundate the thread)

And for you P8 lite users that can get the rom working already, you are lucky! enjoy the rom, for me it is stable for daily use in my case

@Z3NG3R1 this is different one from htcmania, this one has a lot of less bugs, and yes on a zip file
i think you should know how to flash roms at this moment, make a backup and flash it, if something goes wrong restore lol (flashing custom roms has no requeriments, except for having OBV unlocked bootloader and twrp)

@panchovix yeah, I know how to backup and flash a ROM...but what I was saying is that in the toher post, the were saying that you needed a different twrp recovery bro...so that's why I asked...but I'll install it right away then! I'm so happy that this phone is getting custom roms!!! :D

@Z3NG3R1 oh i see, reading the update binary it seems you need that twrp itself recognizes your phone as hi6210sft (this depends on TWRP) and ALE-L21 (this depends of build.prop), so if you have both you are good

Please report bugs to Xepeleato only with a logcat file. There are free Apps for logcats available in playstore. The Dev can only fix bugs if he knows what went wrong.
