F.A.Q :

Video camera recording issue ?
- please try to flash EMUI B360 before to switch to RROS 7.1.2 !

Your SIM card are not recognized ?
- please make sure that your SIM card have LTE capability !

Device too hot while charging with stock Huawei charger ?
- please try to charge via USB connected to a Desktop/Laptop, or simply use a different charger, instead the stock one !

Why there is always full network signal ?
- yes, is just a tweak - until we'll find a solution for correct signal scaling, we prefer this compromise solution !

Are you going to switch Selinux to enforcing ?
- for the moment, this ROM is intended to use Selinux in permissive mode - do not try to change this !!!

All your issues, that in fact are related to F.A.Q will be ignored !

Just a workaround to fix reboot to erecovery ( now the device will reboot to system, instead erecovery )

Please take a look here to backup erecovery and to flash boot.img over erecovery partition .

That's pretty darn genius actually!
But back to my question, is this compatible with FRD L04c567b360? Or will I need to wait for the b380(or 385?) update?

Once when the random restarts will be solved and roms gonna be fully stable (or if will be released source codes), is possible or some plan to transfer emui camera app to LOS or RROS?
thx
Usually, stock apps are not only apps and depend on stock frameworks for which sources are not opened. So my guess is it may not be possible...

Huawei Mate 8
Hi there

I was just wondering if there are any plans to have this rom on the Huawei Mate 8?

Both the Mate 8 and the Honor 8 utilise the same Cpu...

Since official stable versions of Nougat haven't been pushed to the Mate 8, I think many Mate 8 users would be extremely pleased to use this Rom!

Thanks
:D

Replacing boot.img with erecovery

So, I flashed this rom today and decided to try to replace erecovery with boot.img and while testing RR I noticed a app I need is not working so I decided I would go back to emui 5 but when I normally go back (ive done this a few times. ) I flash the update.zip and go to erecovery to download from wifi if it goes into a bootloop (which is happens a lot) and that fixes it. But since I replaces erecovery I don't have it anymore as the option. My question is if I flash update.zip will it replace boot.img with recovery2.img like it replaces twrp with recovery or do I need to flash erecovery back with a shell command? (and what would that command be?)

Thanks for any help,

(sorry if I did anything wrong this is my first time posting.)

U have to reflash erecovery2 to flash update.app .
U cannot flash update.zip of NOUGAT with stock recovery as itself has update.app in it and also a zip with additional files to be flashed in /data/ .

So flash erecovery 2 , downgrade to MM and then update to Nougat .:fingers-crossed:

Yep, thanks! Thought I read it was stable, luckily I tested it on my "weekend".

I really appreciate your donation, thank you very much :)

People like you, are motivated me to continue to work on this device, and even if there is a lot of small issues ( we should be honest ) - I'll try to fix a part of them in the next updates ...

This is one of the devices that I'll work to bring Android O :p
