After updating PROS fingerprint wasnt working anymore. Clearing calvic/cache didnt help, only a factory reset could fix it

Hi, so I just got myself a new Honor 8 Pro (DUK-L09C636) and I've successfully unlocked my bootloader and flashed TWRP. Now I've followed the installation instruction from the OP but I seemed to hit a wall. After I wiped the vendor partition and flashed the vendor.zip file, the TWRP logs showed the following

Thinking nothing of it, I proceed to flash RROS ROMs together with OpenGApps and rebooted the phone. The ROM successfully loaded and I'm now running the ROM but I noticed a few peculiar oddities;

• my phone cant detect 5GHz WiFi network
• I cant access the phone storage from my PC through USB in any mode(MTP or PTP)

I'm sure there are more oddities that I haven't encounter yet. I instantly thought of the error from the vendor.zip flashing procedure. I guess the procedure is botched after all.

I've already verified the md5 checksum for vendor.zip file and it matches the md5 checksum posted in OP. I've tried reflashing the zip file and the same error message was shown. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

trying to uninstall magisk and flash addonsu by lineage. did anybody try the addonsu/lineage root solution? @surdu_petru is that possible?

Are you using C636 too or are you using a different region device? I reverted back to stock for now since I can't resolve the problem. I'm thinking of trying again. I just unlocked my bootloader again just now.

c432, uninstalled magisk. took phh superuser from playstore. installed xposed and xprivacy. meanwhile i use password for lockscreen and it works everything very well. maybe you should rebrand to c432.

Hello, i have a problem with this rom, i cant activate OEM unlocking in dev options, when i click on it, its just go back to desactivate, and i cant access to fastboot anymore because of this. if someone can help please?

i think i made the mistake of not rebranding from DUK-AL20C00 first?, and got error 7 from flashing RROS. now it's bricked stuck in bootloop/straight to erecovery. I can only get to coldboot and cannot connect to adb.
does anyone know if i try to dload method to unbrick, which firmware should i be using now

getting an error 64 while installing gapps

previously i am on emui 8.0 OREO .. I need to install Resurrection Remix ROM on Honor 8 pro but when i install the rom package it is successful after that when i install gapps package i got an error while i use 64 bit architecture and android 7.1 nano file gapps package still getting an error code 64 after that if i reebot the phone goes to the stock recovery anybody has any solution regarding this plz help me ......
