I just installed the ROM and I am so happy to finally be using stock Android but for some reason, the settings app keeps force closing when I go to Display or tap on the gear icon in Apps.

Try dirty flash again and see if ot makes any difference.

I have the same problem. Tried dirty flashing but didn't help. Anyways, the ROM still works like a charm!

Already tried all kinds of flashing, clearing settings data, dalvik cache, cache, etc. Nothing works. The Huawei camera app also does not open. The other camera app works but the front cam doesn't.

Huawei camera wont work as this is custom rom.

Well, it already has one pre-installed so I assumed it is supposed to work. I figured it is the P9 camera port. Not sure

Sorry, I can't do that now since I moved on to Carbon ROM. The problems with RR don't occur on any of the other ROMs, not even on AOSPA ROM by the same developer.

Huawei camera is not working, was added just experimental, and it's from honor 8Pro and not from Huawei P9

But Snap Camera is working like was described on OP ( the only issues here is 4k video recording not working )

Try to make a clean ( factory reset ) install from previous version of RROS, maybe it help you . I have no issues to use Snap Camera !

That will.be difficult it seems from 6X.
But they can surely try p9 lite camera similar to elite rom..works fine on our devices

P9Lite camera don't have dual camera, right ? so it didn't use the dual camera features on this device !

Oops got it. Yeah only primary cam was working. As you mentioned, we trust, you will fix the cam for sure :good:

I flashed it after the ROM and Open GApps but my H8pro still stuck on "Your device is booting now" :crying:

I had that too. reflash in instructed manner but with magisk 14,zip. no Su, no Purify xposed etc, mini beans Gapp instead of Full.Open Gapp. it solved for me.

btw, may be we can fix it .
1. Optimizer apps that you are using?
/* access permission to modify setting + usage
root grants.

2. if you meant the inbuilt *battery preferences" + currently on some substratum theme | error msg[....setting has stopped]
> check ur memories consumption again after ° disabled/uninstall themes + clear cache +;force stopped sub's &interfacerv services etc.
> → ° revert to Default all your personalization on ,*,deny* BG Activities, on boot apps , battery saver system changes.
> disable LSpeed. fully charged " wipe battery stat. restart..
> reset disabled BG only to third party apps.
> if greenify or servicely or recently, enable to default start stat n disable force stopped them.

[ because , (i guess) @1st bootup you found Android System n idle run were almost the same and display +UI + G services were 55% of the consumption and lil warmer than usual *? ]+ usually, we activate load so many apps n theme at the initially on BG. + update on restored apps. n continue to check on new features for hours. it drains faster coz of the abusive usage for 1+3 hours.


> UI changes themes cost Memory to get the awesome dark looks. after following the above. u can compare the cpu usage on kernel auditor.


3. Now for LSpeed Only.
[ Not Herb, Hibernator etc running active kernel auditor]

it happens sometimes with magisk + Su running st same time too.

but if you tweak heavy another grant is asked sometimes for modify" system access grant". undo those processes. there is easy n efficient way .

3. the apps for optimizing system other than mentioned " LSpeed".
