Hey Surdu, this OnePlus 5 camera port works, but the video camera crashes..

https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/themes/apps-oneplus-5-camera-gallery-port-t3631786

I know it says Honor 8, but the Honor 8 and P9 are very similar and at one stage during EMUI betas the Honor was running P9 kernels.. so I hear.
The flashable zip does work on P9, but as described above video crashes... Pictures work and are comparable to EMUI stock camera quality.. best alternative I have found by a mile for AOSP camera.. we just need the video part fixed :)
Is this anything that may interest you my friend? :)

Now is good. Magisk working. Thanks. Regards
Unfortunately my Magisk is still not working, did you end up doing a clean flash to the newest ROM build or dirty flash as in flash on top / update?

I did run into an issue with ROM not booting but luckily I managed to use a backup boot image from the previous build to get it working again.

Edit: Well I'm going to attempt to patch the boot image on the latest rom build and see if that boots as when I tried updating to latest ROM recovery logs said it failed installing the Magisk 13.3 addon or something like that.

Okay that got it working!!! Yes!!

Does it matter if I dirty flash instead on wiping? Kind of a pain to re add all my info

P.s this ROM is now my daily driver as uber and snap work, I'll report on how it feds against long time use!

Please for all users with the SIM issue on the last RROS update :

You should provide me all those INFO via PM ( and do not post here ) :

- go back to stock EMUI and make sure you have a SIM in your device

- root your device

and into a terminal command type this :

adb shell
su
getprop
cat proc/cmdline
cat sys/firmware/devicetree/base/hisi,boardname
Thanks !
