It's easy to build multiple ROMs, if you have a working device tree. Some people like some ROMs better than other. surdu_petru said he is able to build a ROM pretty quickly, so why not? Also, maybe the source of the ROM is different in some part and has more or improved code, so maybe some features will work better with the same device tree.

HWC is working fine on OpenKirin's ROM, but it's not the same on RROS.. Which ROM should I compare with this one?

I installed a substratum theme and after a reboot, the system get totally destroyed. I even can't test all the ROM.
I'll reinstall the ROM to try it again.
