Thanks. Wiped and re-flashed with the latest nightly and used this installer. Working great except for Bluetooth.

I had this same issue with CM13. Is Bluetooth working for others? Is there something else I have to do?

Bluetooth connects to my Bluetooth speaker but when I try to play, the music player just hangs.

Thanks. Wiped and re-flashed with the latest nightly and used this installer. Working great except for Bluetooth.

Sorry, can't help ya there. I don't use Bluetooth...at least not yet, until wife let's me get Bluetooth compatible devices, lol.

Did a little more testing this morning. It is definitely the media audio that isn't working with Bluetooth. Phone audio is working fine.

Otherwise, Vanir is working great. I am looking forward to when the media audio piece gets fixed, however.

I only use bluetooth for file transfers which works fine . If you could get a logcat it would sure speed things up on getting it looked at . What are the steps to replicate it ? Also can you try another music app to determine if its just that app or others ? I think Vanir builds for over 100 devices so it's not likely anyone is going to stumble upon this unless it gets submitted with a bug report . If it's Rom wide , on all devices then I'm sure it will get looked at .

Did some more testing with Spotify, rather than Poweramp, same problem. I saw the CM13 forum post about this issue, also. FWIW, I have attached a logcat.

It would be great to get this issue fixed because other than that the Rom is fabulous.

Hey techdog , madbat or anyone , can someone download quadrant , unless you already have and run the benchmark and post your results here please ? doesn't matter what rom your on , cm , aicp etc .thanks

The Bluetooth issues are from cm upstream. Stinks I know, but its all in gerit.

It is probably only on this phone, or at least a small subset of devices, if it was throughout more devices, more developers would be focused on fixing it. Hopefully someone will publish a fix one of these days.

Looks like fixed should be merged for Bluetooth . If it wasn't in last build it should be in the next one .

If your just downloading a new nightly no . Are you using Vanir updater ? If so it has a script to update and will take care of everything . You would only need to flash gapps if you were clean wiping the phone to start over . Just dirty flash and enjoy . SU isn't required because the rom has it's own root app baked in . SU is still fine to use .

Hmmmm.... Yes, the media works. However, now the phone over Bluetooth is broken. This happened on a previous cm13 build.

One of the core developers there is Derek Hunter (DHO) . He's very helpful and loves a good log . He's capable of fixing just about anything that can be fixed as long as he has a logs . Pastebin is easy , you don't even have to have an account , just paste your log , select bash syntax and save and it gives you the link . Just don't make it be way to big cuz there is a character limit . Since the issue changed I'm sure you will run a brand new log . Good luck .
