Pastebin is easy , you don't even have to have an account , just paste your log , select bash syntax and save and it gives you the link . Just don't make it be way to big cuz there is a character limit . Since the issue changed I'm sure you will run a brand new log . Good luck .
Thanks. I finally was able to get the logcat. Tough because I was flashing the 0415 nightly and it wouldn't recognize the usb connection for adb. Also, the logcat ran to almost 512 k, which is the limit for pastebin, unless you are a pastebin pro.

Yeah sometimes you have to go in dev options and revoke access to devices just to clear it , then connect to pc and hope for the RSA key box to open so you can accept again . Hopefully DHO will get it figured out .

Hey guys I love this rom ( commotio mm) is there any reason my sprint s3 ( d2spr ) can't send/receive MMS nor use anything but 3g for data ( lte just gives me the exclamation mark )? I also can't seem to access the APN section to see what my settings actually are or aren't ( option doesn't even appear in settings menu under cellular networks ). Apologies if this is a basic question I just have never encountered this issue.

I have several d2sprs and run Commotio on one of them . LTE works for me . I haven't tried MMS . Are you on an mvno by chance ? If so which one ?

Thanks for the prompt response SuperGoober.

Nope on sprint proper.

Never had issues accessing APN settings in the past so this seems very odd atm. I also have no access to a PRL update option either? But iirc that had to be installed separately which I haven't done yet.

Could the PRL thing be the issue?

Well it is odd for sure . I've never touched the apn and can get LTE . Reason I never touched it is because i don't see it either but the default settings work so I never worried about it . So that we can narrow this down , I need more info . Did you come from stock to this rom ? Did you update the prl before you flashed ? Any additional relevant info you can add please do . You have to do your prl update while on stock . Also take a moment to thank the OP, post #1 of this thread if you haven't already .

It had been running on stock for about 4 weeks but no I didn't directly update the PRL at the time, but it was getting LTE just fine everywhere on stock. Gave a thank you to the op too.

Maybe I should flash stock back, update PRL and then reflash commotio again. Will have to wait until tonight too much work stuff going on right now to not have phone atm.

No I wouldn't reflash back yet . When did you first install Commotio ? Go to settings to where apn settings would be and at the top right click on reset apn settings to default . It's a long shot but see what happens . I assume you know for sure you were getting LTE on stock the day you flashed this or have you flashed any rom before this one ?

I was definitely geting LTE before on stock. The only thing that was ever done to stock on this device was unlocking and rooting. I basically dropped my nexus 5 so I'm back on the s3 temporarily until something I like comes around in the next device releases.

Considering how well commotio is actually running I feel like waiting isn't a big deal at all, just the no LTE or mms is killing me atm, and may be a deal breaker if I can't figure out whats causing the issue.

edit: I am able to access the APN menu via an old apn list app I used to use ( there's no way to reach it through the regular settings menu ). But all I see is nothing on the list and "access point name settings not available for this user". I did do the reset suggestion you made but no real changes that I can tell even after a reboot.

Anyone have an issue with the quick pulldown not working? I already reflashed it with gapps and superuser without doing a restore from google account but everytime I pull down I only see notifications.

You are pulling down twice right? First pull is notifications second pull brings down the quick options. Just checking.

Yes. exodus seems to have this problem but than both doesn't seem to work with several versions of xposed. I went back to kitkat.

Does anyone else get the message "Unfortunately the process com.android.provision has stopped"? When they dirty flash? I get it every time I dirty flash WITHOUT also re-flashing the Google Apps (currently using the DHO-GApps). Pressing OK makes the message go but it immediately pops back up and the launcher doesn't start. If I reboot, it goes away. Should I be concerned? Thanks.

Yeah you should be . Something is out of whack . I dirty flash everytime without a single hiccup . Your phone shouldn't even be trying to provision as far as i know . I never reflash gapps but if I did I would clean flash . That might be part of your trouble . Try a clean flash and start new . if your using twrp go to advanced wipe and check cache , dalvik , system and data . Go back to install and pick the rom and gapps and flash both at the same time . I would try these gapps that I've linked you to . http://download.dirtyunicorns.com/f...s/BaNkS_Dynamic_GApps_6.x.x_4-11-16_04:29.zip

Once you do this you shouldn't have any issue unless you have somehow messed up your provisioning from the stock rom . BTW , what baseband are you on ?

I just clean flashed with the latest nightly and the gapps you recommended - we'll see how it does next dirty flash.

Baseband is L710PUDND8.

@Max Frost. Thanks for the suggestion. Just dirty flashed 6.0.050216 and it worked fine.

Another question..

Is there a way to tell which CM13 version this build is based off of? I was going to bump the Samsung Galaxy S3 bluetooth issue thread over on the CM forum but I don't know which CM version to report I'm running.

Thanks.

If CM has the same issue then it would be about the same on dates because they merge everything almost daily in the way of commits .

FWIW, I flashed the latest CM and it has the exact same behavior. I've reported it to CM devs and gave them a logcat. So, we'll see what happens.
