I hate to say this but it could be the ROM. I downgraded my tablet to the last stable released of lineage 13 for the tablet it passes saftynet great WiFi and Bluetooth. I have Google play installed and all my apps installed like Netflix, Hulu, primed video and kodi. Also French guy why use vlc and not use MX Player pro works excellent with video supports all codex's and you can stream from it.

I tried yesterday with MX player (free) but couldn't find any option to stream from a network location
I also tried with Kodi, but it seems I have interruptions pretty quickly
With VLC, looks like the 1s interruption only comes after 15 to 20 min. Then, it becomes more frequent !!!

Is MX Player Pro really much better than VLC or Kodi? is it worth the $5.99?
I will try tonight streaming from my server.....and will let you know
2 weeks ago, I started to have tons of issues with Lineage 14....And I noticed my SD card name was not very weird. How can I rename it like "SD card" or whatever makes sense?

Ok french guy just wondering what are you using VLC to stream maybe whatever you are trying to stream has its own app instead of watching it thru 3rd party app. If you trying to watch movies that is similar to what terrarium was you can try using cinema hd v2 which is really cool can watch all kinds of movies for free and tv shows.

Oh ok it can be the tablet itself then cause maybe the device is self has weak wifi signals my tab and my ancient laptop gives me issues streaming cause being an old devices it cant handle my internet. Here in NY i have 1000mb or 1gb of internet speed cause im on fiber when i using Lan or Ethernet connections i get those sweet speeds, however when using wifi depending on the device my internet speed on the device varies. Example on my samsung s9 phone the most i get on wifi speed is 228mb from that 1gb of speed however when i do a speed test on my tab 8.4 i get a miserable 50mb of speed if im lucky soooo its not VLC or the rom it is just the tablet is tooooo old. Also internet speed can go up and down depending on how many devices are streaming at home if my bf is playing on the computer my and im on the xbox and my friend is in the other room watching netflix on fire tv the speed will drop. So all these examples can be yours. Also remember the newer the device the better wifi signal it has.

Hi french guy I'm happy I was able to help you helping you I was able to help myself. Now I understand why lineage drop support to our tablet cause of all the issues we have on lineage 14. Lineage 13 works nicely on this tablet and only issues I'm dealing with is Bluetooth for some strange reason I can't seem to connect any devices other than that the tablet still works very nicely. I was on Lineage 13 but went to 14 because of some issues with web browsing and video playback. Lineage 13 at the time could be made to pass Safetypass with Magisk, which sometimes does play into getting Netflix or other apps to work. Lineage 14 is more stable for me, but Safetypass is a no go. I didn't have bluetooth issues with either one.

In case you're still wondering, I use a file browser with SMB support to log onto my local server/home theater PC, which has all my movie files. Then I stream the data, and use MX Player to play it. I don't know if MX Player has direct support for browsing a SMB network. Many file browsers can do this, including the old ES File explorer, Solid Explorer, and MiXplorer.

Having Problems installing this package either as nightly and unofficial version 5.8.10.

Getting the following error message:

Currently I've having Ressurection Remix 5.7.4 with T320XXU1ANAI Android system recovey installed. I did a wipe data and wipe cache. Any ideas what to do?

Rom installation stops after 10 percent

I can not flash this room. Everything seems to be going ok, but when it starts installing, it stops after say ten percent. The blue indicator bar only fills up for about a centimeter. What could be the problem? I have TWRP 3.3.1.0

NO please dont flash this on your device it would not work only on the SM-T320

Is your device SM-T320 if so in order to install the rom you have to unlock the boot-loader follow the guide on this post https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2661198 in order to do so. Then after that you will proceed to install twrp and through twrp you can install this rom. The rom is already rooted all you need to do to get root access you need to install either magisk hide or superuser

Just to add a bump to this cause I'd be curious myself for a more recent post, I did flash RR-N-v5.8.10-20190128 to my tablet and it's been working so much better now. Just over a day into regular use on it and I'm surprised it took me this long to do so.

No issues encountered yet
