About Project:

Cardinal-AOSP is a Custom ROM which was initially based on AOSPB, then we changed our mind and rebased it to AOSP-RRO, to get better compatibility with most of the devices, Cardinal is being built with Uber toolchain, with most of uber optimizations, with full Substratum Support and with minimal customization, the main aim of this ROM is to bring stock AOSP experience as possible while maintaining performance, smoothness and good battery backup. I hope that you'll all love this project, and help us, shape it even more better.

New build [24/06/2017] is out now :D
Download it here.
Dang. You always get me haha. I went to cypher since you put up beta 4, but now you have a new build here. I love cardinal for some reason, so now I'm back. For good I think.

One question... Is it possible to implement the auto brightness toggle in quick settings like in cypher beta 4? I like that feature. If not, no worries. Just curious.

I think there might be a bug with usb/wifi tethering sadly. No matter what I do, my computer gets an IP address but the web connection is always down.

No, auto-brightness toggle is not there in Cardinal-AOSP. :(

No, there is no bug like that, it is working perfectly. (Writing this using USB Tethering only). :)

My card is seen in TWRP but says needs fixed in rom. I have my nandroid on it so I don't want to have to format it in rom but I can't use it lol.
I had SD problem too on this a couple other AOSP-based ROMs, and it's been reported but seems not to be all cards. Mine is a SanDisk Ultra 64GB SDXC UHS-I and it doesn't have this issue on stock or most other ROMs here. Appears to be something in the ROM itself that should be correctable.

I'll check it then.

So when you launch it and then try to install a something it DOESNT ask for root?
I don't recall having magisk installed with this ROM. And I never SuperSU. And I had it themed, so I'm 99% sure it's rootless oms.

Really?? I never tried it with Cypher. I didn't realize it wasn't working. I went back with lineage based ROMs for now. They seem to work well with ElementalX. Aokp has been my daily driver lately. But Cardinal is great.

Well what makes you say that elementalx kernels work better with Los based roms?
