Also 64 bit.But I've owned Nvidia Tegra 4 devices with 2GB of RAM that were super fast (in fact, the fastest Android devices I've ever owned).
For example, both the HP Slatebook x2 and the Asus TF701 have nvidia Tegra 4 processors and 2GB of RAM and they perform great. They were running older versions of Android, but the Tegra 4 was also a previous generation of processor compared to what's in the Nexus 9.
It just doesn't make any sense to me...
