Thanks for the reply. I thought that perhaps now their updates might become better and more extensive and by extension Slim would too?
I mean not really. Flounder still supported by aosp for N so not much will change. O will be another story all together, assuming we can get O to work at all.

Read our release post, will require a full wipe.
If I'm running the latest 7.1.2 beta, is there any advantage to switching to the stable release?

I use my tablet a lot and would like to avoid having to do a full wipe. Will there be more betas coming that I'll be able to dirty flash on top of my current beta, or will they require a full wipe too?

Thanks!

Nope you will need to wipe to update. Just how it is. We just happened to use stable to update the certs. As for the benefits, if you want to keep up with the rom updates else you will need to stay on last BETA build.

Thanks. Sorry to ask another silly question but where is the stable build? I can only find the alpha and beta builds on the download page.

Why do you require a full wipe? Shouldn't be cache + system enough to flash the new build?
As mentioned on website if your coming from BETA you need to factory reset. Twrp will not let you flash on top of BETA. We updated package certs.

Got that, but why isn't a system flash enough? The /data partition shouldn't have anything to do with this?
Just how it works. I'm not lying to you go flash without a factory reset twrp will flat out say no :p. Keep in mind certs handle everything from apps to zip.

Hi, i flashed this rom last night and its so freaking awsome, but im getting an error everytime i reboot my tablet and i dont know how to fix this, this is the error:

"wrong vendor image detected. the required vendor image for this rom is n4f27e. please flash the matching vendor image to remove this message and ensure your system will be working reliably"

im using open gapps as the slim website sugested, any idea how to fix this?

Download the appropriate factory image from Google and unzip it. In there you'll find an image-volantis-...zip file. Unzip that as well. In there you'll find a vendor.img file. Boot your tablet into fastboot mode and use fastboot to flash this - "fastboot flash vendor vendor.img".
Or install direct on device by flashing the image in TWRP. Depending on how easy it is to extract the factory image on your device, this may be easier for you.

On that note..any chance someone is hosting just the vendor images to make it easier to just download the latest and flash along side the ROM?
