This is solved. Clean flashing didn't help. I tried three of the latest builds with no luck.
I then decided to wipe and flash the last known working 6.0 ROM for testing purposes. LTE worked immediately.
I wiped everything and restored from the backup that didn't work 5mins ago. Now working.

I'm suspecting this is modem/radio related? It's the only thing I can think of that would make the tablet act this way.

Everything runs fine but my 710 us very hot on the to right part of the screen after about 10 minutes of use. Anyone else having the same issue?

Yes, I do (I have the T810). That's where the CPUs are located, you could try to reduce the performance of your CPUs and see if that helps. Maybe you can tweak the performance in the settings. Alternatively lowering your clock speed with a third party app might also work.

For me it's a very fast Rom. Much better than the original.
I have only one issue:
Wifi Hotspot does not work (gives "error")
