[ROM][7.1.2][UNOFFICIAL] AOSP-Extended 4.6 (SAGIT)

Ok so I installed this rom (fahmi's 4.6) with the required firmware. Great job and thumbs up for the people involved, but I have two issues:
1) home button doesn't work despite also flashing the patch found here in this topic a few pages back
2) lte doesn't work - it maxes out at hspa+ where my other xiaomi (mi max) phone catches lte on aosp extended rom.

Any hints? I also tried the official rom, as well as this with newer firmware, but no joy.

2 appears to be an issue with my Mrs' simcard - tried with my mimax, it's also not getting LTE when my simcard gets it fine in the same place.

Still couldn't get the home button or miui camera

Older version is outdated, please use latest Oreo by Verevka's.

Anyway if you want to use older please use build 28-10 with firmware 7.9.7

Which ROM are You referring to as Oreo by @Verevka? Is there an AEX or Pure Nexus build for sagit based on Oreo? I don't see any such in this forum - there are a couple Oreo builds, none authored by Verevka, although one gives him credit.

The older build You're suggesting - has it been tested to work as far as home button is concerned (we seem to have FPC/Goodix model FPC102x/FP as per aida64)? I tried both Your unofficial and the other, official build of AEX, and I didn't manage to get them to make home button responsive or work with LTE, although the latter turned out to be a problem on the carrier side and is now fixed. However, there's every chance I was doing something wrong (order of things flashed maybe?). So it's really just the home button and I'd switch to Your ROM build, old or new, anytime. Huge fan of how AEX & Pure Nexus roms work and what they offer, and so too is my Mrs, whose phone I'm tweaking these days Not that Lineage has done any harm, hats off for the team behind it as it's great job, but we just find AEX more to our taste.

One other thing, that seems to be the same across all ROMs I've tried so far (two AEX builds, Lineage OS 14.1) - I can't seem to get the MIUI camera in for some reason. Upon successful boot of the device I can see google camera, but it crashes immediately when I try to start it, and another camera which reports itself under "Applications" in settings as "com.codeaurora.snapcam" - and this one works though I'm not sure if it profits from the dual camera of the Mi6 in any way.

Please disable the double tap action of home button, because it caused home button delay ! And I can't disable it.

When I disable keys in extensions, navigation bar's vibration will missing.

Yes
I'm forced to use the nav bar instead of the actual buttons. The only reason that I dont change the rom, is because I like it too much

I remember that being the main reason I changed.

Needs to be addressed, for sure.
