I CAN'T BELIEVE. Only 3 days ago I was saying goodbye to my beloved LG G2 ( running AOSPA from @GalaticStryder ) cause my Le Max 2 had finally arrived and I was already feeling kinda sad cause there wasn't a PA build for it. But guess what?? NOW THERE IS!

I couldn't be happier with this device. I haven't tested any of yours ROMs yet, but I certainly will! Thanks @andr68rus ! It's also great to see GalaticStryder getting some credit for it. He did an amazing work with his Kernel and AOSPA ROM on G2 ?

He maintain AOSPA for Le Pro 3, i get many important things from his device tree. It allow me to save many time :)
Look at other ROMs to (DU,PN,Omni,AOSPEx), AOSPA need some tweek for now, but I think it usable if you like it :)

Thanks for the ROM. It seems very laggy, apps take ages to load and there is lag in every animation. I also did an antutu benchmark and it was horrible. I came from your latest version of RR and I did a full wipe

Heyyo, yeah definitely some performance issues for me too... Albeit it makes for awesome cheating playing Need for Speed No Limits. No idea if it's using Vulkan or OpenGL ES but it takes forever to load menus and the races are approximately 10 frames per second hehe so it makes it darn easy to race... Just painfully long and slow to finish the races heh :p

X829 4GB 64GB, modem firmware 23s.

    the fix, what new on update aospa 10/07? a log can be? final build pfff omg @andr68rus drops the rom as usual! looked lineage 15 it has already abandoned it does the same for aospa! useless
    He has finished all nougat roms. He is going to start with oreo. You should be more respectful, andr68rus has done amazing things for the le max 2. If you think it's that easy to mantain a rom why don't you do it yourself?
    Edit: please don't start a fight with this

    Next week I will try to update ROM, there are many changes in device tree for zl1, need to merge them in to my device tree.

    Would enjoy having x2 on board for official AOSPA, we're already preparing the ground for Android 8.0 for MSM8996, which is basically our common work for op3 and zl1 devices at this time.

    We are rebasing the minimal Kernel tree again for our devices on top of Kernel 4.4 (LA.UM.5.8) but that takes - a lot of - time and effort.

    Since the Max2 uses the msm8996 board, my Kernel tree for 3.18 would be almost 100% for it, you may just need to import the basic dts (improve syntax), import some two or three drivers for sound and see if you need to modify some #ifdef from zl1.

    The blobs are being reworked now as well, I was using omni ones but I wanted to re-do (simplify) the vendor part for the next work on 8.0.

    If I had this device I could pretty much test locally and bring it up for officials but I currently don't own two phones, only using Pro3 and fitting all my needs for basically the next couple years.

    Thanks for your interest in AOSPA.

    @ThE_MarD you can try that.

    Code:
    alias jack="./prebuilts/sdk/tools/jack-admin kill-server; \
    ./prebuilts/sdk/tools/jack-admin start-server"

    function jacket {
    	echo "Extending your /tmp partition..."
    	sudo mount -o remount,size=10G,noatime /tmp
    	echo "Rebooting jack server..."
    	jack && echo "...done."
    }

    function bang {
    	export DEVICE=$1;
    	export VARIANT=$2;
    	echo "Banging your $1!"
    	. build/envsetup.sh;
    	lunch pa_$DEVICE-$VARIANT;
    }

    Those can help you out, don't need to use any scripts at all.

    Run:

    Code:
    jacket
    bang x2
    mka bacon
