Just installed this Rom on my Note 4 on Page Plus Cellular. Everything installed but Internet and cell service is a little flaky. It seems to drop out and for Internet, seems to only be getting 1x.

Can that be solved with a modem update?

Here's a interesting issue. When I first upgraded to LOS 15.1, I think all was okay. But after a few days the network changed from "Verizon Wireless" to "Roaming Indicator Off".

I had LTE although according to LTE discovery app, it was on band 1 which I didn't think was a Verizon LTE band(I think it's 2,4 and 13). Now I can only get 3g/evdo.

All functions work-calls and text messages. I just seem to be stuck with low speed data.

I put my sim in another phone(Motorola G4) and I got lte so I don't think it's an account problem.

Question I have is could this be a modem/baseband issue? I am on CQL1. Is there a newer one?

Did you ever get an answer to this question? I'd love to know before I buy the phone. ?

No I did not. After exhaustive research on the issue of custom roms having VoLte and WiFi calling, I came to the conclusion that it is never going to happen. It requires to much time on the part of the developers and to little cooperation from the handset manufacturers with said developers.

Good luck.

Thanks for the quick response! Now it's very important, because VZW is shutting down 3g & 1x voice, so, if you're on VZW without VOLTE you cannot make voice call.

Yes, that procedure does work for the Note 4. I used it on my Verizon Note 4 running the Paul Pizz rom. Should work on Jasmine too.

My comments regarding VoLte and WiFi calling were more specifically related to custom roms like Linage OS or Resurrection etc., etc.

The Paul Pizz and Jasmine roms are derivatives of the stock Samsung rom and this is why one can get advanced calling features running.

    Good luck.

First, thank you to the makers for creating this custom ROM and the OP for posting and answering questions.

Unfortunately I've been having all types of little problems like, (1) random shutdowns & freezing (2) sound suddenly switching from my bluetooth headphones to the speaker (really embarrassing at work) (3) lags.

Would it help to do a clean wipe & re-flash? Or would I be wasting my time? Should I downgrade to 13.1? or maybe try a different ROM?

    Help!
    Irene

UPDATE: Moved on to LOS 15.1
