LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7.1.2 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device. LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

This is pure, unchanged LineageOS 14.1 source, without chinese bloatware

Known Bugs:

Installation:
Same as for LineageOS (Be sure you are using right firmware)

• Download the zip(s)
• Install a compatible Recovery (TWRP recovery recommended)
• (Optional) Nandroid Backup
• Wipe data/factory reset
• Flash LineageOS
• Optional: Install the Google Apps
• Optional) Flash Magisk as a root solution (or something else)
• Reboot

Happy with AEX, but Lineage still is the best to me.

I recommend you to check zukfans.eu too, this rom was posted there for a month or two, and I think there's more content there. Check it out.

This one however seems to be the real deal! Just booted and installing my apps now. Everything seems to be working fine.
4g, gps, calling, messaging, wifi, bluetooth :good:

I installed the lineageOS from zukfans, it came with chinese bloatware. So thanks, but no thanks..

This one however seems to be the real deal! Just booted and installing my apps now. Everything seems to be working fine.

I've noticed one issue: camera works only using the back one, but nothing using the front one. Screen remains black.
Tested Snapchat, Footej and OpenCamera: the same....

@Ninnix96, dude you are GOD FINALLY [email protected] is working really in 60FPS and not at 50FPS and is VERY sharp video, the only think now is that I don't have any sound I there whole ROM, probably because I've installed over custom kernel void32 with Dual Boot patcher, definitely the best ROM so far and I've tried them all, believe me and the only Nougat ROM which record real [email protected] and the sound and the picture is synched

Yeah I can confirm, front camera is not working. I was just in time for screenshot, black screen & FC when you try and take a picture with front camera.

Front camera not working, same issue for me.

Other than that I want to say thank you dev! This rom is the best for me in terms of battery use. My tests show only half as much battery drain while using apps and like 20% idle drain compared to AEX, which I previously favored in terms of stability.

An advice, you should check if audio works before publish a ROM.

If you are using z2-dev sources you should know that I'm still working on fix the audio. If not, please be kind and release your sources.
