Welcome to the goodness of custom roms.
Here is an unofficial port of lineage os 14.1 for 10.r_D by me.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 8 (nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Note: First boot and boots after every update can take some time. They may even loop a few times. We do not support custom kernels or mods like MultiROM. If you have an issue, make sure your edits aren't interfering with the issue you're reporting.

Soft Brick, HELP!

My device was on 8.1. I rooted it fine. But wanted to downgrade to 7.1. So I installed this rom. On its first boot since it was encrypted i had to factory reset. On TWRP I selected Wipe->Format data->yes. And then cleared cache, data internal storage. Now the rom installs, but when I reboot into system it brings me back to TWRP. The boot warning also gone. Its not hard bricked. but I dont know how to get it back.

Could someone get me out of this, it would be helpful.

Just Grab the Official firmware for your phone Model and unzip it. If you are familiar with flashing on PC, then just unlock your bootloader.
Then flash recovery image, boot image, and most importantly system image. This will get your phone up and running again.:)
