It's strange, I can't get mobile data to work at all, only gsm for texting. I might have to go back to stock so I can use google maps and not get lost everywhere. Have you had this problem? It makes the rom unusable for me. Also, can I use a 64 bit rom for this phone? I'm pretty sure the architecture is 64 bit. I'm also on the T mobile version.

I have the Tmobile version as well. Did you reset the apn? Yes as long as you flash, the 64 twrp image.

That should no longer be needed with 5/18 build. But I haven't done a clean install to test.

Same here, but I did a clean install on a friend's device and, didn't have to reset the apn.

I just did and it worked! Thank you. I might go back to RR now. Which one do you like best? I had Magisk and xposed on RR 32 bit and didnt really notice any problems.

That was clearly a typo. I guess two beers after working a double at work is the blame. I meant to say the latest lineage build.

I'm running 5/3 Lineage. I'm also glad that the apn reset worked for you.

Xposed isn't out for 8.0 yet, does magisk have enough modules to make it worth it? I'm really enjoying these custom roms for 7.1 and the lack of ads on youtube is increasing my sanity levels

I remember doing that all the time. After the rom and, gapps I used to flash Su too but when I, when I wanted both majisk and, xposed I only had to flash majisk, no SU.

It's been a while since Ive done this stuff. How do I replace twrp 32 bit with 64 bit? Also, does lineage come with magisk? It seems that RR came with it. If not how what do I do to get it?

uh....anyway to recover from the "You device is corrupt. It cannot be trusted and will not boot" screen? I tried to relock the bootloader in fastboot in order to wipe it again to put twrp on it. I hope I didn't brick the little guy

edit: please ignore for now, there is a tutorial that is walking me through unbricking it.

You can install twrp as an image in twrp under install. I'm making a new build to address lag in the recent builds.

Did you reset APN to default? That's the fix to get mobile data working on all roms as of now for this device.

Correction, on everything before 5/18 you have to reset the APN on

Also we now have carrier aggression which utilizes multiple LTE bands at once for faster mobile data.

I downloaded and installed lineage 64 5/18 build. Home screen kept reloading. Random reboots and lots of lag. I did a dirty flash and a fresh clean install and still had the same problems. I restored the 5/14 build.
