SlimRoms is a custom android operating system. Our main goal is to offer users a slimmed down yet feature rich alternative to other android operating systems.
The entire SlimTeam work together to bring you this tailor-made beauty straight from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source code.
All of the sources can be publicly viewed through GitHub and you can stop by our public Gerrit to submit patches of any type.

Flashing instructions:

Coming from another ROM, OR if a CLEAN FLASH is required
1) Download the Slim7 zip file (See Post #2)
2) Download a 7.1 arm64 GApps package(optional)
3) Boot into recovery (TWRP)
4) Full wipe (Dalvik Cache, Cache, System, Factory Data Reset)
5) Flash the Slim7 zip file
6) Flash GApps
7) Reboot

IMPORTANT - PROBLEMS/ISSUES:
If you have issues, I need logs from you (logcat, last_kmsg, dmesg) linked to on pastebin.com or hasteb.in, showing the failure, along with a clear description of the steps that I need to take to exactly reproduce the problem. Please DO NOT complain about problems and offer nothing to help fix it. You will most likely be ignored...

I uh maybe missed some steps. That's probably why..


Love the idea, but no back button? Is this rom for phones with hardware back/home/task switcher buttons?

Love the ROM

Just wanted to stop by and thank the person/people in charge of making this ROM. I initially was using LineageOS which is great but I had trouble with crackling audio. I flashed this slimrom and it works great! Time for me to move on with life while enjoying my phone :) thanks again!

Does this ROM offer native fingerprint gestures support, comparable to stock ROM's? I'm currently on LineageOS and I'm missing my gestures terribly - the phone feels crippled without them. I'd happily jump ship if this were the case.

No , but you have apps.
"About the compatibility, is your device running Android 8.0+ Oreo? Unfortunately the fingerprint gesture API's are not available prior to Oreo."

But some exists on nougat, search on playstore like fingerprint quick action...
Edit: mhhh just single tap works
