Hello. I have been using this ROM for quite some time, and it works pretty well. However, the tablet fails to receive any cellular connection while using this ROM. I can connect just fine on stock v52120f (I think that's the name), but not on this ROM (nor Resurrection Remix). It detects the SIM card, but gets stuck on "Activating cellular service..." I've tried manually flashing the v52120f modem via TWRP 3.1.1.0, even the v52120j modem, to no avail. The only things I'm installing with the ROM are OpenGApps Nano and Magisk 14.0. Is there any way to fix this? This is the only issue I've seen so far; otherwise, it's a perfect ROM (or as perfect as it will get). Thanks.

EDIT: It does this without Magisk installed, as well. I'm starting to think it is an error with the modem, as the "Baseband Version" in Settings is "Unknown."

Is there a way to enable the monochrome mode that the tablet used to have? The reader mode button has no function now in lineage. I would really like to make the button do the same reader mode again, the black and white monochrome view.

If I turn on airplane mode then come back out, (once or sometimes it takes several cycles), the data connection will fail to be restored. I'll see bars but no data. If I keep trying, I'll see "Sim Card removed". Cycling to 3G then back to 4G sometimes fixes the issue but if I keep doing it, I'll get the "sim card removed" message. Rebooting always fixes the issue. If I just dont goto airplane mode, the data connection seems to keep working.

I've reverted back to Stock for now. I don't encounter this issue on stock.

Lost root

I have been using Lineage for a long time and flash nightly builds regularly. I just noticed I have lost root on my 521 and don't know how to get it back. Can someone help? I tried flashing su but that didn't work. I seem to remember something about dirty cow.

As I mentioned before in this thread, I haven't been able to get the cellular data working. Now I have a logcat of what happens when I try to search for network operators. I'm on the latest nightly (March 4, 2018) with the v52120m modem. The Wi-Fi network I am connected to is called "WIFICAEFFE-5G".

I can't make heads or tails of this log myself; hopefully someone else can. I also have Magisk installed, but as stated in my previous post, I don't believe that's relevant.

Any real benefit such as performance of running this Lineage OS over latest stock ROM ? My tab starts to get loading webpages a bit slow. Also, is it possible to flash Magisk instead using the included SU ?
