This ROM already ships a highly customizable Kernel, the rebased Arsenic Kernel. The standard settings are pretty optimized mostly for battery without a lot of stutter, but you can tweak a lot with Kernel Adiutor. Also this Kernel is based off AOSP, while Boeffla is Lineage base, so you would lose Gestures and maybe other functions.

Random reboot problem

Hi, I just installed this rom on my friend's OnePlus X. I runs pretty well but for some reason it keeps rebooting randomly. I did a clean install, flashed the OpenGapps nano package and the last version of super su. In the attachments there is the dmsg file from before the reboot. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I want to install this rom. I have found the 4.3 build. Can anyone tell me al the bugs of this rom? Does this rom support otg? Can I save photos in sd card by default in the oxygen os camera? Can anyone give me the download link of oxygen os camera? Thanks in advance.

I want to install this rom without cleaning my internel storage. Will it be ok? Will it be a clean flash? Plz tell me the procedure of installing this rom. Currently I am on OOS 3.1.4

First post isn't up to date, there is indeed a 4.6 version that we all use, just search the thread for it. It was released October 30th if I remember correctly.

It could be great if the 4.6 release becomes stable, maybe fixing the few issues present.
It is a great rom to use as a daily driver!

A great ROM, used it for almost a year but latest unofficial build sometimes was unstable when turning on bluetooth and when connecting usb cable for transferring files it rebooted.
Two days ago I've tried AOSiP with Oreo, it is excellent but still needs to improve battery life. Now I have moved to AOSiP

Hmm okay, never had such issues... I love this rom because it has the modifications I want or need and over all I am a big "Arsenic"-Fan! I think @CheckYourScreen did kind of a magic there. :D
But you're right. The few devs out there do a great job. I've also tried them, also LOS 15.1, AOSP and AOSiP but at this stage, none of these fits my needs as this rom.
I am not complaining about these roms (hopefully no one gets me wrong) but just mourn for this specific rom. But at least maybe this is also a kind of a change for me to move on to another device.
But sorry, that's offtopic...

Makes me wonder why there is such few Dev´s for onyx, compared for example with bacon-oneplus one...
For me this is a much beautiful and a litle better device than oneplus one, besides the battery is a little weaker 2525 mah vs 3100mah...

It would be excellent to get an update of this ROM if only for the security updates. Of all the onyx ROMs I've tried, this is my favourite for usability and configurability.

    ->Roms is Based on AOSP

    -Why no OTA Support?
    ->Actually the updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuffs are merged and added. So we don't provide OTAs and recommend clean flash.

    -Does this ROM Support Substratum/CMTE?
    ->Yes, full substratum support!

    -Which Gapps are recommended?
    ->OpenGapps or
    ->DynamicGapps

    -Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
    ->No.

    -What about XPOSED?
    ->XPOSED For N is not out yet. Still in Development. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have xposed uninstalled.

    It's been a long time. I was inactive due to some personal issues and lack of time to spend on development. I apologize for not providing consistent updates. I have also switched to another device recently. So I don't find any point in just being the maintainer of this ROM without being able to provide updates regularly.
