It must be same as any rom. Wipe system, data, cache, dalvik. Flash rom, gapps, magisk.
How is battery life compared to stock? My G3 is getting pretty old and I only get about 2,5 hours of SOT. So what would that number be with Viper OS?
Edit: I am planning on buying a new phone in the summer but for the time I need a faster phone. Stock lags so much it's unusable.

I don't know whats up with the website but I can not download the d855 files from there. :/ Do you guys have a backup link? Ive tried this site aswell: https://viper-os.com/devicedownloads/lgg3.html but no luck.

Battery life is so bad. It is still draining.
I need a rom that it has got good battery life
Believe slacker, i have take long time to test all kernels as possible.For this phone never will exist a good battery life... NEVER!
At beginning the lg devs have works hard on their android phones, they have habbits of their devices.
I don't say that kernels devs (especialy on XDA) don't know how to build great kernels but they aren't the lg devs.
We know that d855 and variants haven't got good battery life and overheating problem, it's not a surprise.
We can add xposed/magisk support on certains android versions/ROMs but more you add hooks stuff at each android tasks, more the phone will be burn, it's logic.
Between all that, we can find the best middle :highfive:.
