Try other stock roms, not aosp as suggested by dobrun.franjo
If camera still don't work on stock rom, then obviously you have hardware problem, you should take it for repair

i suggested fulmics rom which is stock based...and try to read the whole post

and clearly his g3 has hardware problem

Thanks for a wonderful ROM. I came back from Oreo as I wanted to use xposed, which only for 7.2 for now. This is great. I love all the extra bits that have been put in too.

Use the volume buttons to increase or reduce the volume, the next call you make should be at the volume level you set with your previous call. This works for me.

Well, that would not have thought. Seriously. When set to the lowest level, the call volume is too loud during the call. So I asked which file to modify, so that the lowest volume is quieter.

I'm sorry, I did not mean to insult your intelligence. I just stated the method that works for me, however simple it is. As for the modification you are looking to make, I can not help you with that, sorry, but I don't know that much about Android.

still, try it, results may differ cause my battery's bit old.
