Is the oversharpening problem found on LG stock rom present in this rom? (are custom roms free from this problem?)

I am running stock Lollipop with Gabriel kernel. Can I flash this rom or do I need to go to marshmallow first?

Also any need to flash bump?

I don't know about the sharpening thing. Never bothered with it on custom ROMs so I'm thinking no.

I never went to Marshmallow before installing MM and Nougat ROMs on my D851. Last official stock here was Lollipop.
For me all ROMs have worked with the Lollipop modem (20g).

Oh, I forgot about the bump question. That's usually not needed unless flashing root (SuperSU mostly). For variants other than D851.
There have been cases where bumping was needed after a kernel. Specific kernels and situations which I don't remember.

Hello, I can't find the required 21C firmware for my device to downgrade, if I'll flash 21A first and 21C modem.img file after, will it work?

And is this Rom Bump'd do I have to bump it first?

Hi I followed the instructions and flashed the N 7.0 version. The phone went into bootloop on reboot. (D855 v21a coming from Stock L ).
I used the physical buttons to reboot into recovery and flashed the MrBump zip file. It booted into the rom with no problems So D855 (coming from Stock L) needs the mrbump zip flashed as the last file.

I noticed substratum can't compile the themes at all, get a message saying it is outdated Legacy version. Any suggestions?

ROM is no longer maintained or supported so I think not.

I installed AEX 4.5 on the D851. Installed Substratum (latest from Play Store) and three themes. No issues whatsoever compiling and applying overlays.
Not sure what the problem could be. You still having issues with it?

Thanks for the information. I did install the latest substratum and it does go through the compilation of a chosen theme, at the end it gives a message saying some errors have occurred. Nothing is layered at all. I have a D855.

Also the LTE disconnects every few minutes and reconnects. Would this be a modem incompatibility? Can I flash a modem zip file to correct this?

It is a very nice ROM, I haven't changed any kernel settings.

Try reading back a few pages. If you took the time to do this you will find that folks have included mega links and also stated that the rom is not maintained anymore...
