YES THIS REALLY WORKS ON BOTH LOLLIPOP AND MARSHMALLOW BOOTLOADERS.
WITH BT AUDIO WORKING AS WELL.

This is a whole new project of Resurrection Remix 5.8.4 based on new Device Trees, Kernel up-streamed to latest CAF tag LA.BR.1.2.9_rb1.23
The only Kernel for J5 devices which is continuously updated with the CAF changes and fixes.
Moreover, it is the Official LineageOS-14.1 Kernel for Samsung MSM8916 Devices which has been used in these builds.
Vendor blobs are new as well, most of them imported from Stock Crackling Nougat.

The ROM will have some minor issues and your reports will be highly appreciated but do not forget a log!

A Full Clean Flash With Latest TWRP Is Needed With These Builds.

This is an upstream bug that popped out recently thanks to lineage team and vince is already trying to fix it, anyway you don't have to remove your battery just press vol.down and power button together for 10 sec and it will force reboot. By the way even if it gets stuck on the battery icon image it actually charges your phone, I tested it personally and you can do the same if you want :svetius:

I thought it was cell phone problem because of battery problems.

Another thing, there is a bug in the camera stock, the camera flash does not work, otherwise, I have no problem

Yup Mobile Data wasn't working in earlier builds, I forgot updating the thread.

Update:
So guys the Mobile Data is working in these builds. The issue is fixed in these builds so you can happily go ahead and flash them!
