Hey, buddy. I think you should really be able to make a Pixel Experience ROM of Android 8.1 for OnePlus 5. Other devices such as OnePlus 3T ,Xiaomi 6, Redmi 4X and so on have got their Pixel Experience ROM. As OnePlus product users, we need you to make one!

I already built one, it is bootable but it isn't quite usable as sim cards aren't working.

Is it fixable? I don't know, let's wait for the true experts (i'm not one). I will keep trying building pixel (at least until there appears an official maintainer). For now, Fusion is my favorite, I think it is an excellent rom, optimized to the bone.

PF Oreo is excellent!

1. Use TWRP suggested (posted a few back).
2. go to step 3 if decrypted (if not backup and google search steps)
3. wipe all except 'internal' and 'OTG'
4. flash oneplus 5 firmware 4.5.14 NOT OB1
5. flash ROM then GAPPS (arm64 8.0)
6. I use magisk 14.5
7. reboot

if wifi isn't working, reboot recovery and repeat step 4

Getting closer to the right recipe, sim cards working, even the camera works
Unfortunately, now the damn wifi doesn't turn on. Anyhow, I guess 2018 started well for our op5

In fact, with the latest firmware, SIM card worked in the previous version of the rom.
I suggest that "Disable hardware keys and light" option should be added into "Settings>System ui tuner>navigation bar".
Also, Pixel 2 features like " Ambient Display" and "Now playing" are expected to add into the rom.
Home button's animation in the navigation bar is abnormal. The four little dots can't " return" the central white dot normally.
No fingerprints option when setting up lock screen.

Could you check in advance if flash drives formatted to ntfs work via otg? They don't on the 7.1.2 version. fat32 and exfat works though.

Currently running 5.01. Should I downgrade back to nougat before flashing pure fusion or just wait for oreo?
