i really do not understand. for a community that aims to provide freedom in the control of the OS why even distribute this if it's not rooted. i am stunnedNo, I have no plan yet...

You are free to root it if you want. The best one is Magick root. Remember that your security is lower on a rooted device.
i got into TWRP with no other modifications. You need to press power and UP only after you reboot once i think OR press when you get to the splash screen after Kindle splash. I pressed both times.
Now question is what mod to do as this one was no good.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. If you install Gapps after the ROM has been booted for the first time you either need to wipe data and reboot. Without this Gapps will crash constantly. This is due to the new permissions-system in M.
