Not Working
  • RIL
  • Wi-Fi
  • Sound
  • Camera
  • CyanogenMod Setup Wizard (See below)

Important
All source code is available on CyanogenMod's GitHub and/or Gerrit. The current build is based off of the staging/cm-14.0 branch.

CyanogenMod Setup Wizard currently causes a crash that will not allow you to start using the device. To bypass this, I have uploaded a flashable zip that will remove the app so you can proceed. If you have GApps installed, you will be greeted with the Google Setup Wizard, which works fine.

Most CyanogenMod features haven't been ported to Nougat yet and are therefore missing!

This is NOT in a state to be used as a daily driver! Make a backup before flashing so you can return to it later. At the moment this is only useful for testing Nougat and seeing what it has to offer.

I've got a new build up, download it here! Just an FYI, updates will probably be slow for a bit, I've been having computer issues and my computer may be out of commission for a few days. Hopefully official nightlies can start for this phone soon so I don't have to worry about updating the build myself :p

Going to start a CM14.1 build soon, hopefully all goes smoothly and we can get Android 7.1 up and running :victory:

New build up here! Video recording is now working. Everything hardware-wise should be working now, so have fun! As a side note, official nightlies have started now, unfortunately this device isn't on the list yet. The only thing that needs to be done before we can have official nightlies is update the SELinux policies, so it shouldn't be too long now ;)

Aaaand we have Android 7.1! The build took longer than expected, my computer restarted for updates in the middle of the build (seriously!?) and I had to rebuild again to fix a compilation issue. Hardware-wise, everything that was working in CM14 should still be working, though I haven't tested RIL (mobile network) as I don't have a SIM card in my Moto X! It should still work, though I had to change something related to it in the code to get it compiling, so we'll see... Software-wise, a lot of features from CM14 survived the upgrade to 7.1, but some didn't. Be sure to make a backup if you're making the switch, in case you want to go back! Also be sure to install 7.1 GApps. It may be possible to dirty flash over CM14, but I would recommend a clean flash. Anyways, here's a download link, have fun :)
