BACKUP in TWRP: name "NMF26V"?
When backing up the installation in TWRP each of the backups gets the same name "NMF26V".
It's a bit confusing, i cannot differentiate the backups and their versions from each other.

@beroid: would you please change that to give the backups the right name of the version installed?

Just rename the name of your files before starting to backup a partition.

Again no write access to the external microSD!

Since Nougat i again do not have write access to the external microSD. Several apps give out a warning about reading access only when i try to define directories for access on the external card, for example: F-Stop Gallery, Locus Map Pro...

There was no problem with that under LP or MM.

Is it only myself or are others here with the same issue? Is there any sort of solution for that?

Hello,

Your ROM appears to work well on my Wileyfox Swift (version 1). Using TWRP I flashed the radio, the ROM and GApps (in that order) from an external SDcard formatted Ext3 (as root). I arrived at that solution having recently upgraded my Asus Transformer Prime to KatKiss #15 (Nougat 7.1.1) where the same permissions regime worked. Question, is root really necessary?

First boot took a very long time. It's possible that I abandoned Cyanogen 14.1 and Lineage 14.1 too soon, both seemed to have hung for about 10 minutes before I gave up.

Does Titanium backup/restore work well on your ROM?

How do I restore root?

thank you.

Settings - Security - Screen lock - click on the gear icon - Blur background
Thanks a lot, but i'd have never thought it was "hidden" under security instead of being placed in "settings/crdroid/lock screen" ;)

FASTBOOT and RADIO?
Is it necessary, optional or recommended to install the "fastboot- ...-crackling.zip" and "radio...zip" from the first side?

Minor bug

Still on v2.1
Thanks for this amazing rom (v2.1) A few things:
I dirty flashed v2.1 over 2.0 (but wiped Dalvik and cache) and had to install all Gapps again  Play did work but I had to manually delete and reinstall Gmail and Youtube to fix it.
Firefox gives a black browserscreen once you try to scroll and doesn't respond. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling/tried Beta and add permits but no luck. Luckily Chrome keeps working but I wonder what could be the problem.
I didn't had these problems in v2.0.
Nevertheless I am pretty happy with this rom and lots of respect for all contributors. :good:

I had this problem too.

For now I am back on version 2.0
I experience the same problem. The browser screen turns black as soon as I start scrolling. Perhaps has something to do with the renderning and the graphics driver?

Did someone got Firefox to work proper on crdroid v2.1?

For now I also will fallback to crdroid v2.0, since other browsers are not an option for me.
