The native app doesn't exist, and I don't believe any is included so you'll have to find a replacement, but the Google Handwriting Input app does work, and actually seems to work really well with the S-Pen. You should be able to install it on Stock and compare. The screenshot is from the install page, btw. It offers a place to test.Hello, I'm thinking about installing this ROM, but I have a question, I use the S-Pen with the handwriting recognition system of the official Android kitkat version of Samsung, I would like to know if there is any system available. Handwriting recognition for the S-Pen in this ROM. If someone can upload an image of the screenshot while entering the text manually
Thanks
OK thank you very much. Would it be possible to install this application in the current version of android that I have on my tablet? The native app doesn't exist, and I don't believe any is included so you'll have to find a replacement, but the Google Handwriting Input app does work, and actually seems to work really well with the S-Pen. Have you upgraded also the bootloader?Hello, thank you very much to all the team for the rom, although I have encountered some problem during the installation.
I downloaded the rom and installed it, the steps I have followed are these:
- Installation twpr with Odin (ok)
- access to boot loader
- data cleaning
- installation of the rom
- googleapps installation
- restart
The tablet turns on but stays with the black screen and a line like a smile with a circle and it does not start, more than 30 minutes waiting.
It is normal?
I ended up turning off the tablet and loading the official rom again with Odin, today I will continue trying the installation.
Thank you very much
Yes, or I think so, I installed the TWRP recovery from this file twrp-2.8.7.0-v1awifi.img.tar, in fact it is from where I installed the zip file with the ROM and the GoogleApps zip file.Have you upgraded also the bootloader?
TWRP is the Recovery. Bootloader is different. Check the 'Bootloader Information' part in first post.Yes, or I think so, I installed the TWRP recovery from this file twrp-2.8.7.0-v1awifi.img.tar, in fact it is from where I installed the zip file with the ROM and the GoogleApps zip file.
the new bootloader has touch support on the screen and allows loading zip files, and perform data cleaning
Thank you
I concur. Updating the Boot Loader is a VITAL step when coming from stock on this device.TWRP is the Recovery. Bootloader is different. Check the 'Bootloader Information' part in first post.

Also, you should update TWRP to the official v3.1.1 which is the latest for the P900 ( https://twrp.me/samsung/samsunggalaxynotepro122exynoswifi.html ).
If you choose to root the device, I would recommend using Magisk 14 (or later) rather than SuperSU (which is now depreciated by Chainfire), or the standard LineageOS root add-on, which is rather limited in scope.
update-it charges, but doesn't seem to recognize anything plugged into the otg cable-thumbdrive, etcHi,
I'm connecting this tablet to a keyboard (musical instrument) to operate a music reader program via a USB OTG cable. Since I've been on this ROM it's been spotty. Sometimes doesn't connect at all, sometimes works for a bit then stops, sometimes flashes between the 2 attached messages bottom of the screen. I've tried different cables/connectors, etc, but no luck. I noticed in the 'developer' menu there is a USB type button with some options:media transfer/audio/midi/charger etc. I tried changing this, thinking maybe it needed to be on midi or something else. I can select the button to change it, but it doesn't change predictably, sometimes not at all, sometimes I'll go back to it and it's reading something different. I think this is a software thing, the charger port was changed recently so that's new. Any thoughts appreciated.
Two questions...Hello, last night I was doing tests with the installation of the ROM and the truth is that I'm confused.
install the bootloader
Install the TWPR
install the ROM
install GApps
I did a total cleaning so that the installation was completely clean but, at the moment of starting, error messages of applications that have stopped appear continuously, error messages were about mail, calendar, etc, so I thought it was problem of the google applications and I decided to perform a clean installation only of the ROM.
The result has been the same, continue to appear error messages on the home screen and after much effort closing the messages I get to the screen to enter the data of the Wifi network, at that time the screen is blacked with the Lineage logo I can not continue with the installation.
I have tried all the available versions of the rom since October 25 and the same goes for all versions
Thanks for your help
Two questions...
1) Did you download the correct and latest GApps version, ie. 32 bit ARM (stock)?
2) Did you flash GApps in the SAME TWRP session as the ROM?
