I like this rom alot except thatI have one major issue with it :( I set up my sd card as internal storage. So by default all apps are installed to that sd card, so far so good but when I restart my tablet, those apps do not show up :( at least for a while (so afwall misses them or other that populates app lists) and those install on the sd card do not show up on the home pages if they were added to the default launcher's home.

Is there a way to fix this?

Have you tried App2SD? Works for me.

Believe it or not, I'm still on 4.4.2 as it originally came, not even rooted.. all stock. This has been my wife's tablet and it's been great for her like this. Unfortunately (or fortunately, haha) she bought an IPad Pro 12 and now I get to play with the Note Pro 12.1. I am actually really enjoying, but this thing needs a serious upgrade, root, recovery and a proper custom ROM.

Since I may be among the world's last persons to be running a Note Pro 12.1 still with factory firmware and zero updates, my sole question is: Can I get this thing a recovery in and flash it directly to this new 7.x ROM or do I need to do other stock Samsung ROM updates first before I can go from 4.x to this custom 7.x?

I just ask because on my Lolipop Tab S2 that I wanted to get it updated to a custom 6.x ROM, I couldn't do it for over one year (!) because I needed to be on a 6.x Samsung stock ROM first and they ONLY FINALLY released a 6.01 ROM for my region (Hong Kong) a couple months ago.. pretty astonishing company!

Anyway, hopefully I can get the Note Pro 12.1 easily out of its current factory state and a into proper new one. Thanks for the heads-up and of course thank you for this 7.x ROM. Can't wait to give it a spin:)
What is the model number? Are you sure it is Note 12.1? not 12.2? A week ago I updated 5.0.2 stock to 7.1.2 in one go. I followed the LineageOS wiki install procedure. However, I ran into a problem when I used a program called 'Heimdall'. V1.4.0 wasn't working. V1.4.2 source code is out there on the internet, but its useless unless you know how to compile the source code into a Windows .exe. Anyhow, I found a guy on Reddit who had compiled v1.4.2 for Windows. He provided them for me. I used them and everything worked. There was still a little trial and error, but I'm happy with the result.

Hello, the system informs me that there is an update available, I have downloaded it and when I want to apply the update it warns me that it will start in recovery mode to install it. I accept, the tablet restarts, enters the TPWR but nothing appears to install. I am not able to locate where the file with the update is located. What am I doing wrong?

I searched the thread of the rom and can not find installation instructions, I have seen some reference in the post 500 but I can not understand it

Thank you very much

In twrp there is an "install" button, press it. In the next screen go back a couple of directory levels until you get to "/data/". There you should see a directory called " lineage_updates". Inside "lineage updates" you'll see the firmware zip file you need to install. Select it and swipe the install slider to apply the update and restart. I hope that helps. B

BTW, you won't see this directory with the p900 booted unless you have a root file explorer app like "solid file explorer".

wonderful rom

Hi guys
Thanks a lot for making this rom official lineage rom. I hope that you guys change the title of the thread from "Unofficial" to "Official", as this is a big deal for some people.
I was waiting for this rom to have the official stamp, before I use it.
I really love my Note Pro, because of it screen size for reading books and watching videos.
I just installed this rom, it is working fast and stable. The stock rom (5.0.2) had really good battery standby (weeks) and I hope this rom has the same battery standby.
I noticed that S Pen became kind of irrelevant in this rom, as you can't scroll with it, is it normal? Plus the pushing the S Pen button does not change anything either? I presume that those functionalities are not implementable. In a way, that is totally fine.
Once again thanks a lot for this wonderful rom.

I don't think it'll be different...

You might run into some problems with Heimdall not restarting your tablet to validate its connection. If that is the case then you'll need a hard to come by version of it, 1.2 I think. Let me know if you run into the same problem I did.

Best,
Bear

Flash your BootLoader first !!!

Also, use the official TWRP 3.2.1 for the SM-P900.

I used the bootloader and the twrp listed on the first post. Everything worked fine!

Development hasnt stopped. Our build server had some faulty hardware that just got replaced. It should be back up and going today with builds being ran on schedule again.
