after leaving the tab off for 9 months (last charge 9 months ago) it started perfectly with battery at 90% charge... are you sure the battery is the issue?

battery part number is T9500E right ? no hurt in trying

Hi,

I just installed this rom via the latest TWRP available for the P900.

The install is fine, just saw a message that its installed unconditionally.
Then I added opengapps nano.

But: safetynet check failed with BOTH conditions.
ctsProfile: false
basicIntergrity: false

This will have some apps to be disappearing from the play store like: some payment apps, netflix, ...
I tried another install w/o opengapps, another one with wiping every partition, w/o success: safety net failed.
I also registered the device id with my google account for custom rom use.

This is my 4th device with a community rom. With some other devices deleting all data from google play store and google services leads to success (after! installing magisk and leaving it in default install mode).

Question: Is there s.th within this rom that may lead the safetynet to fail?
If not: any ideas how to fix this?

There are many other roms, but I like to use this as it performs very well, receive security updates, ...

I'm travelling and don't have access to my tablet, but I'm pretty sure it passes safetynet. Maybe someone on the Magisk forum can help you determine why yours does not pass. Can anyone else on this forum confirm safetynet passes with Magisk?

I just freshly flashed the rom and gapps and configured it and didn't pass safetynet in two full wipes. Pretty sure lineage doesn't pass safetynet for some reason

Even with magisk safety patch v3 safetynet fails and with magisk props too.. NO idea

I too have the same problem. It will not pass safetynet check with magisk 20.1 or v19.1

i don't think the safetynet bypass is a basic feature of magisk anymore, there's a post in the main magisk support thread saying it was no longer included as standard, and that bypassing safetynet wasn't the main purpose of magisk. i think you need to separately install a patch to make it bypass safetynet.

on another topic, has anybody had any problems updating this rom since the update last month where a few of us found it was booting straight into download mode after updating it? i haven't updated since that.

AFAIK safety net doesn't pass in lineage OS because it doesn't have boot verification implemented.. That's what i read somewhere but i'm not sure about it. Take it as a grain of salt

Here i ought i did something wrong the last time i updated the tablet lol.
Had the same problem for the last 2 weeks (both original kernel & optimized kernel roms), only solution for mê was to fully wipe device and reflash twrp-rom-gaps and prayed it worked. Im running the 10 december original kernel rom atm.
So for me the problem started last week off november ^^
