Has automated building been ceased?
I was just looking, and the linked official builds are now 404. That means there won't be automated MicroG builds. Since Android 9 or so, it became increasingly inhuman to get MicroG and all the dependencies and stores installed properly. That's why I have been happy with the MicroG automated build project.

Did anyone manage to get MicroG working on these 5420 builds, deadly or not, without working an entire day on it?

@bmwdroid
The apps concerned are 'Neuronation' 'Brain Training Logic Puzzles' ' and 'Lumosity Pro'. My first thought was the battery but no problems on switching back to Lollipop 5.02. Reinstalling this [ROM][7.1.x|SM-P900| Unofficial LineageOS 14.1 (v1awifi) and the problem is back again. I will try a different rom in a couple of days and see what happens but will give your suggestion of dropping the cpu frequency to 1700 a try first.
I appreciate that battery life is a subjective matter, but the tablet has not had a hard life with its main function being displaying lyrics for a singer and certainly under Lollipop 5.02 it displays no battery problems even when scrolling lyrics using the 'Linkesoft Songbook' app
for 2 hours or so with the battery never dropping more than 20-25%.

I've installed the first two and played both a bit.
No drain.
BUT I use Netguard-no-root and didn't grant them access to the internet. And the energy profile is on "Saving" plus screen brightness on lowest.

Just installed on my antique (but beloved) Samsung 12.2.
That's so nice to see it alive again! Camera is working, wifi and pen also. I didn't test the battery completely though.
Installation was smooth except for 2 steps: I was stuck at "Checking for Updates" when LineageOS is trying to update itself and at the step with Gapps when configuring the Google account where I was stuck into a loop with the windows confirmations.
I solved both of them by rebooting.

Thank you so much for the maintainer!
Maybe I'll installed the LineageOS 17.1 version later (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...l-lineage-17-1-android-10-q-20210419.4152395/) but it seems to have some problems.

EDIT: After some testing, I confirm that there are no problems with energy management. The battery life seems even a bit longer.

Can't use a lot of apps on my stock note pro 12.2 p900 as I'm still running the last official Samsung update. Thought I'd finally take the plunge and update to lineage but when I click the links in the op they no longer work. Is this still the most stable version to use, if it is where can I download the files and if there is a better version available can someone point me in the correct direction to it. Thanks

This link is still active. https://download.exynos5420.com/LineageOS-14.1-Deathly/v1awifi/

There is another ROM at https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...l-lineage-17-1-android-10-q-20210419.4152395/

I don't use that one, so I can't comment on how it compares to the older one. You can read through that thread to see what problems people have with it.

Installed lineage-14.1-20201020-NIGHTLY-v1awifi on Sunday night and I'm wishing I'd done it years ago, makes it a joy to use. :)

Reading through the thread for the latest version it looks like there are still a few bugs that need sorting out, are you using it, if you are how do you find it?
I use it.
Don't have other problems than I had before.
Using it usually 1h/d.
Rare (once a week?) sudden reboots when browsing but didn't find a cause yet.

17 wasn't stable enough.

I flashed lineage-14.1-20211225-UNOFFICIAL-v1awifi (https://download.exynos5420.com/LineageOS-14.1-Deathly/v1awifi/) for the first time on my P900. My requirements are only being able to browse on chrome. Somehow it constantly gets stuck or lags/freezes every few seconds while I'm browsing on Chrome after the flash.

Can any one experienced please give some suggestions/advice? All I want to do is simple lag/freeze free browsing.

Used to have Deathly on my device but am now on Vanilla 20220208 using "kernel adiutor" to reduce load and heat.
Browsing with Vivaldi and Brave encoutering some laggynes as well on some occasions but couldn't figure out what was causing that.
Using "Cool Tool" CPU load gauge as an indicator and my P900 is quite often on 100% level but it's mostly still working fine.

    LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7.1.* (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include <std_disclaimer.h>

    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
     *
     */
    LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    Important information:

    • Installed or did mods from untrusted sources
    • Modified system files

    5. Wipe data/factory reset
    6. Flash LineageOS
    7. Install the Google Apps addon package (Optional)

    Just a small update, the pie build is coming a long nicely. I expect to release it in the next month or two at the latest. I will not guarantee all the features will work but I have kept you guys deprived for so long I will give it a shot. I will keep you updated.

    We know now is not impossible to have Oreo on this device. I mean the Exynos Galaxy Tab S which runs on the similar SoC and specs as Note 12.2, has already a LyneageOS 15 build available: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s/development/rom-lineageos-15-0-sm-t800-t3678052

    Yeah I put together that build for him. There is a lot of bugs and is not stable. I refuse to release anything till I know it is stable.

    Hey Everyone,

    Long time since I put a big post out. Couple big annoucement and a few minor items.

    Two things that are big:

    LineageOS is now officially supporting the v1awifi. I have worked my butt for this. So enjoy! You can find the downloads here or the OP.

    Now what does this mean? The ROM will be officially signed and it should pass safetynet. (I might be wrong on this). Also all the builds will be "super" stable from LineageOS. The only downfall is that it will not have the latest and greatest features from our Team since we update the LineageOS repos about once or twice a month. So if you use it, but you would like a new feature be integrated but don't ask when we will merge a feature over to there. If you really want feature, switch back to the Exynos5420 Jenkins builds. I am going to always recommend to use our builds from download.exynos5420.com because it will always be up to date with the latest device changes and fixes.

    Next.... There is finally a changelog for the v1awifi device. It is on the LineageOS website. You can get to it here or through the OP. I will say, this will not include all the latest and greatest changes from our Team. It is only mainly the base OS or the changes we move over.

    Couple of minor notes. I am working on O but have no ETA. It is still very unstable and practically unusable. Please kindly don't ask for an ETA. I promise, I will get you a build as soon as I feel comfortable with it. One other non related item, our team is working on putting together our own ROM. It is called Echoing Moon OS (EMOS). It is purely based off of AOSP. So far the initial feedback is great. We still have a lot work to go but it is looking good. I will create a new thread when we get a stable build.

    That is all! Thanks for being the greatest team to work with. You guys give great feedback.
