Can I ask if the Rom is usable for a daily driver? Any bugs that prevent essentials like SMS or WIFI? I didnt see any on the OP but I'd like to be sure. Sorry If wasting someones time here. It does say "Testing" phase on the OP. Switching over from RR N.

Screen freeze

I have been using this ROM for a while now. It is an amazing ROM but the only problem is the screen freezes randomly. Is there any fix for this. Thanks in advance.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

Information:
This is the nightly builds of LineageOS 14.1 for Zenfone 5 (T00F,T00J) and Zenfone 6 (T00G).

Known issues:
  • FM Radio is unsupported.
  • Like on the most devices with LineageOS 14.1, some video formats do not play so good.
  • In nature, there are no official Android Nougat builds for 32-bit Intel devices, so we cannot update some non device-specific blobs (like Houdini and wvm) to latest versions and there may be problems with some apps (e.g. 2GIS and UC Browser).
  • GPS doesn't work

Bug reporting:
Before the report make sure that your device was properly updated to the latest stock base (modem firmware is mostly important) and you've installed the latest build of the ROM.
Explain the bug in details and, if possible, methods to reproduce it.
For most issues, you should attach the logcat. It you have problems with the network/RIL, attach the radio logcat too (logcat -b radio).
Random reboots? Please upload all ramoops files from /sys/fs/pstore immediately after the kernel crash.

The working root addons at OP link was dead. Somebody can help upload it somewhere please? The one at lineageos.org addons download (su-addons x86 14.1) not working anyway on this rom..hufht..how can it be on official web. I've tried latest magisk & superSU 2.82 by twrp 3.2.3 with no luck...its seem even couldnt find boot.img !!

Try flash original firmware

Flash using asus flashtool if your phone can't be used anymore, but if your phone can access "droidboot" you can flash "splashscreen to get rid redbrick" and reinstall other os or default stock os & recovery

When I turn the power button ... I see only redbrick .... Unable to pass further .... Volume + Power , Doesn't seem to be responding ... Can it still be recovered ?

    New build is available now. There is no significant updates in device base, but android was updated to the new release (7.1.1-r9) and security patch was updated to 05-01-2017.
    I've enabled hall sensor in the kernel again. Previously I've disabled it for screen lock diagnostics. As I see now, almost nothing changed, but it breaks many things like DT2W, glove mode and flip covers.
    If anyone thinks that kernel without hall sensor is more stable - I'll make special boot.img for you.
