Simon it would be still good if they post in a Weekly timefram the progress. No Builds needed, just the progress.

That could help and with luck : Not so many Posts and questions about the next build.

That works for other Devices too . And they are much faster, even with a huge load of Work and RL besides it.


But my through is : No Kernel-Source for 7.x from Huawei = no positive progress without hard and ugly tinkering.

And thats the Problem right .No Source no Daily Use.

But my idea is an AOsp Mod base the Nougat B378. Complete debloded. Ported Cm14 System apks and 100% AOSP UI and Launcher. Ready i Love AOSP but it gives no nothing Daily working Aosp Roms for us. And CM13 is not stable enough for daily driver too.

Well i dont think they will relase the source. It wouldnt take that long. its pretty sad to hear but i just hope that someday we get this rom 100% stable and with no drawbacks i know its difficult but we need patience and everyone should help the dev on anything he asks

Hey guys,
following this thread since a while as my P9 is not receiving Android 7 by now (mexican branding) and the main reason to install LOS would be a working Android Auto (known bug on P9 devices using Android6, AndroidAuto app shows "phone incompatible" as they messed up some drivers).

So, is somebody using Android Auto with the LOS build and could give me a hint if that works as it should?
Also, after reading the whole thread it is not yet completely clear to me what exactly doesn´t work referring to the camera....maybe somebody could enlighten me there?

Hey, could we possibly get an update how far the rom is working and if it is still under developement, cause i haven ' t seen any new features update or a sinlge post for the last few weeks and yes i know that the dev has a rl and other things to do, but i just want to clerify if there is someone working on it.

Wrong! OpenKirin Team (the contributors in the OP) is working on it. It's not only surdu...

Well, i exchanged my Huawei P9 against a new Moto Z, which has a much better OpenSource Support all in all.
