Hey all,

First off - fantastic ROM. Only one I've tried and come back to over and over again. I REALLY want to have this as my main driver but for some reason I do not get notifications from FB Messenger. As silly as it seems I'm in a group chat with like 6-7 of my best buds and it's important that I get them.

I saw other people had this issue in another thread earlier this year but didn't see a solution.

Any idea?

I have nothing greenified. Just flashed and nothing coming through.

Push notifications for other programs work perfect.

So essentially - anyone have issues getting notifications from FB or FB Messenger with this and if so or if not any ideas on how I might fix this?

You need to flash a diff kernel.ktoonsez works great on our i337m...make sure you flash the tmobile version though

I found an app called Push Fix but that was for jailbroken iphones.

About to reflash CleanROM and give it a try. Thanks.

Also installed and loki'd but noticed decreased WIFI speed and LTE speed running speed test. Noticed it was getting about half the speeds as before.

Any clue what I could have done wrong or if I just need to let it settle for a day or so to get back up to where it was?

there is a list of all available MODEMS on the Developer Thread - I don't know if it has the most recent Modem - but it does have the MDL modem - it has all the Canadian modems.


I don't have time to search for the brand new modem lnk but It there was a file posted in the General Section in a thread devoted to the Latest Update. if you do some digging you can find it there .

Found that if you click on 'Help' on the settings menu in the camera it will FC..

UDATE: after tying the same settings over some 4 or 5 times it worked, I bet the issue was on MS side

I love this version. Just updated from 1.1. One bug I have is that google drive doesnt work. When I click a file to ooen I get 'Unfortunately the Android System has stopped'. I also noticed nottach xposed deleted my settings which isnt a big deal.

One thing that now works with nottach is the volume up torch shortcut. Which I'm super happy about. It wasn't working last version.

You should be on MDL allready. It wont hurt to be on MF3. I am going to try it out.

Maybe even better. I just say MDL firmware.

Dirty flashed still MDL base

Anyone who dirty flash have any issues? Just flashed and everything seems good so far..

PRolly not, as long as you are not using 50 framework mods, etc..

Only issue I read about is supposed to be wifi

I saw youre post on my website. I dont use facebook so I am glad the other guys answerd.

Because its for AT&T. I have someone testing a fix for Canda now.

Just tested WiFi... Spot on.

No LTE here...

HPSA+ was great with MDS modem when I tested.

I tried to replicate the issue that you stated but could not...

It works fine for me.

Remove mods, flash ROM Clean and try again... This time without messing with the mods... Then try it with the mods...

yes switching to the stock MDL then flashing does fix the wifi issues. Thanks for all the help to everyone that replied to my post. BEST GS4 ROM EVER !!!

There is not a version of Twrp that has auto-loki. You can flash the loki-doki zip prior to a reboot to get this function.

There is a snappiness to this Rom that I haven't felt in many roms lately - Your Clean Roms have always been fast - and there are quite a few good fast roms out there today - but something about this ROM is different - can't put my hands on it - but I wonder if it has something to do with the base ? I know you are using the latest update from ATT as the base - I have a friend who is not rooted and who did update their phone when the OTA update happened recently - and his phone was noticeably faster than mine...( I was on Goldeneye at the time)


anyway - am I crazy and just imagining this or does anyone else notice it? IN any event, thanks Scott for another GREAT ROM! this one is particularly 'special".

Well debloating and cleaning up unnecessary code speeds things up!
Not to mention scott is an awesome dev (not saying anything bad about iB4STiD because hes an awewome dev also) scott really knows how to clean these up and keeps things minimalistic which makes us experience a snappy buttery smooth ROM, this truely is a

CleanROM!

Does the inclusion of the upgraded camera firmware reduce the shutter lag? What overall Improvements does it add to the camera? I'm on darth stalker now but this Rom sounds tempting.
